Resolution No.2200, the Board this 8th., day of 1,�`ay, I9,29, hereby awards the contract fo-r said improvement to Northern Indiana Construction Company at their low bid of 2,3.26.12. $842.51. -The .Board approved pay rolls for the Building department in the amount of City Engineer, IT. G. Wray, Filed clans, specifications and estimates and the Board adopted and confirmed said plans and specifications together with the follow- ing Improvement Resolution No. 2I25 A., in connection with Track Elevation: No. 2125A:.. Be it Resolved By the Board of Public Iofks of the City of South Bend, Indiana, St. Joseph County, That it is d =sired and deemed necessary to improve B,y Grade or Grading and -pavement: Sample Otreet from the west line of Lot .6 W. Anderson Sub of lot A40 Benni- j; stop and Fellows Addition to a roint 50.I2 feet west of the west line of Clinton Street; Fellows Street from the south line of the first alley north of Sample Street to a point 237 feet south of the south line of Sample street; Rush Street from the north line of Sample Street -to a point 260 feet north of the present north line of Sample Street; Alley north of Sample Street from Tutt street to a point I36 feet west of Tutt Street; Alley South of Sample Street from the west line of Fellows Street to a point II4 feet west, also from the east line of Fellows Street to a point 80 feet east; Tutt Street from the west line of Fellows Street to a point 250.4I feet west; Alley east of Fellows Street from the south line of Sample Street to a point I4I.5 feet south; Alley adjacent to the south right of way line of the N. Y. c;. R. R.. from the north line of FCeasey Street to a point I35 feet north; Alley north of :'Wenger Street from the west line of High Street to a point 179 feet west; Alley south of Ohio street from .the west line of High Street to a point 138 feet west; Alley east of F}ichigan Street from the north line of Bronson Street to a point I40 feet north. The above named streets and alleys within the limits prescribed above shall be graded from property line to property line, and the roadway thereof shall be graded or paved, and also the roadway.of certain portions of the streets and alleys which enterl' or intersect said streets and alleys shall be graded, or graded and paved. All inter- ;; secting alleys, not whown on the plans for this improvement, shall be graded to conform to the grade of the street so intersected. The paving material to be used in making said ;improvement shall be sheet asphalt, asphaltic concrete, brick or portland cement concrete, ;!pavement. The foundation shall be rortland cement concrete six inches (6n) thick fof { the sheet asphalt, asphaltic concrete and brick. Curb wall, concrete walk and concrete Ii curb shall be constructed along said streets and alleys where same is necessary. Yanholes ;! storm water inlets and conduits shall be constructed where -necessary., ;Ylso water and ;isewer connections shall be constructed from the different mains to a point.six inches (6") inside of the curb lines, where necessary. All manhole tops and storm water inlets! shall be set to the proper grade. Concrete marginal curb shall be constructed at all 1it street and alley intersections where necessary; all as is more particularly shown and 1 all in accordance with the plans, profiles, detail drawings, and specifications on file in. the office of the department of Public Works of the City of mouth Bend, Indiana.
