Tuesday, "ay 7th. , 1929 . <br />• <br />0 <br />Improve ent Resolution No. 2227 for the pavement of Y."eade _Street from Lincol i <br />M°ay Vest to Eiwood. venue. - (See files for copy of resolution.) <br />In -all of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board, hereby, order0 <br />that on the 5th. , day of June 1929, this Board will meet in their office in the City <br />Hall at 7-I5 P. r., t,o hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in <br />or affected by said improvements and will decide whether the benefits to the several <br />lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvements will be equal to <br />the estimated costs of same as renorted by the City Migineer. The Board further <br />orders that notices Of said hearing shall be published on the 'IOth. , day of May <br />and on the I1th. , day of Yay,I929, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according <br />to law and that notices be mailed to property owners according to law. <br />Pay rolls claims in the amount of I,44O.32 signed and approved by the <br />Board for various departments. <br />Claims in the amount of 8,941.97. signed and apTroved by the Board. <br />The Board approved the plat of 4hitcomb and :'eller's Westfield addition <br />with the following dedication; <br />Dedication. <br />The attached plat is to be 'mown as ,Whitcomb and 'Teller's 1, estfield, an <br />Add`vtion to the "ity of South Bend, St. Joseph 'ounty, Indiana, It is composed of <br />a tract of land described as being <br />All that mrt of the North half (2) pf the Southwest Quarter '} of Section <br />II, Township 37 .worth, Range I East, lyinga st of the South 4 amen Road <br />and One hundred se7enty-three and four -tenths (I73.4) feet off of the <br />entire West side of the North Half of -the Southeast %carter (4) of said <br />Section II, Township 37 North, Range I East. <br />The plat contatins one two (IO2) lots numbered from I to IO2 inclusive. <br />The size of the lots and width of the streets are marced on the plat in <br />feet and fractions thereof. <br />The streets are hereb=r dedicated to the public for public uses. <br />The building lines and eas6ments are as shown on the plat. <br />In witness whereof, 4hitcomb and Teller has caused its cor 'orate name to" —I <br />be hereunto, subscribed by the hand of its President and its corrorate seal to be <br />affixed and attached by the hand of its Secretary Treasurer on this 8th. , day of l"ay <br />I929. <br />Whitcomb and Keller <br />by Fred ,'l. G. `iray, the Board approved <br />grades for the following alleys: <br />Alley south of Victoria '4treet from alley east of rriami street to Marine. <br />Alley east of High Otreet from Oakside to Woodside Street. <br />Alley east of Miami Street from Victoria Street to Fairview Avenue. <br />Alley south of Oakside Street from High to Dale Avenue. <br />City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed the primary assessment roll showing the <br />awards of damages and the assessments o-g benefits in the matter of the vacation of <br />the alley south _,of Altgeld otreet from ('lyde street to the east line of �'iami Heights <br />Addition under �7-aoation' . Aesolution No.2209. <br />In the above named assessment roil, the Board hereby orders that on the <br />2Ist. day of Yay 1929, this Board will meet in their office in the `"it.y Hall at <br />, <br />IO:OO A.
