<br />This being the date set, continued hearing was had on the assessment roll
<br />for 'the condemnation of Sherman avenue under Condemnation Resolution No1768.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, the written remonstrance filed by
<br />attorneys falter Arnold and D. D. Nemeth for "Julius and Frances Y'uszek, was withdrawn,
<br />and the Board, being fully advised in the -premises, finds that the several lots and
<br />narcels of land have been benefited and .damaged in the amounts named on said assessment
<br />roll. The Board, therefore, decides to ta'ce final action on said assessment roll. and
<br />declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modificatift and
<br />the proceedings closed.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll fcr the
<br />Vacation of William Street from the north line of Indiana Avenue to the south line of
<br />Ist. alley north of Indiana Avenue under Vacation Resolution No.2152.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance was filed, and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that
<br />the several lots acid parcels of land have be.en benefited and damaged in the amounts
<br />named on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on
<br />said assessment roll, and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved
<br />• without modification and the -proceedings` closed.
<br />This being therdate set, hearing was had on Vacation Resolution No.2I96 for
<br />the Vacation of Bridge Street from Colfax Avenue to LaSalle Avenue.
<br />In the above nar e"acati on resolution, Attorney Milldam Bergan in behalf
<br />of some of the property owners residing on the east side, ' requested the Board to continue
<br />the hearing until Tuesday, April 30th. , 1929, at I0:00 A. 11. Said request granted.
<br />The Board arproved the renewal certificate for the bond of LaFortune and
<br />Shoemaker in the amount of �I,000.00 signed by the Bondon and Lancashire Indemnity Co.
<br />This. being the date set, .hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No.2I95
<br />for the pavement of Thirty-fifth Street from the Grand Trunk 'lest ern Railway to T'ishawak`a
<br />Avenue.
<br />In the above named imTrovement resolution, no remonstrators appeared and no
<br />written remonstrance was filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises,
<br />finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed
<br />for said tmprovement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the
<br />City Engineer. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said improvement
<br />resolution and declares same in -all things ratified, confirmed and approved without
<br />modification.
<br />The Board now orders that said Board will receive, open and read sealed
<br />• proposals for the construction of said improvement under resolution No.2i95,'up to
<br />I0 A. Y., on the 30th. , day of April I929. The Board further orders that notices of -
<br />said proposals shall be published of the I9th. , day of April and on the 26th. , day of
<br />April 1929, in the South Bend News Imes and Tribune according to law.

<br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board, hereby, orders that on the
<br />23rd. , day of April 1929, the Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 10100
<br />A. ',,%s to hear and receive remonstrances from all rersons whose property has been

<br />for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of
<br />land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said assessment roll or in i
<br />a greater or less sum tha#k that named on said roll.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Condemnation Resolution No.-2I98
<br />for the widening of Fellows Street from the south property line of the first alley i
<br />north of Sample Street to the north proper line of the first alley south of Sample
<br />Street. (See files for copy of resolution.)
<br />In the above named condemnation resolution, no. remonstrators appeared and,
<br />no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the -premises
<br />denddesh*b thte final action on said condemnation resolution and declares same in all
<br />• things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification.
<br />This being the date set„ hearing was had on Condemnation Resolution No.2I97
<br />for the widening ^of -Sample Street from a point two hundred ninety-five and five one -
<br />hundredths feet (295.051) west of the west n_roperty line of Fellows Street to the west

<br />In the above named condemnation resolution, a written remonstrance was filed
<br />by Abraham From, owner of lots 3 and 4 in Um. Andersons Sub. of Lot 40 Denniston and
<br />Fellows Addition. The Board after hearing all persons interested in said condemnation i
<br />resolution, decides to over rule said remonstrance and declares said condemmtion
<br />resolution No.2I97 in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification.'},
<br />In both of the above named condemnation resolutions No.2I97 and 2198, the
<br />Board now orders that lists or rolls be prepared of all owners and holders of property ��
