Wray, filed plans and the Board adopted said <br />plans together with the following Vacation Resolutions: <br />Vacation aesolution No.220I for the Vacation of the alley east of <br />Yarietta Street from the south line of t�ubail avenue to the north line ,of the alley <br />south of Dvbail, and from the south line of the alley south of Dubail Avenue to the <br />north line of Dayton Street. (See files for copy of resolution.) <br />Vacation Aesolution No.2202 for the Vacation of the -alley south of <br />IDubail Avenue from the east line of Marietta street to the east line of TT,. Studebaker <br />first and second Additions. (See files for copy of resolution.) <br />Vacation Resolution No.2203 for the Vacation of Preemont .Street from. <br />the north line of Roger 'street- to, the south linek- of Longley Avenue. (See files for <br />copy of resolution.) <br />Vacation Resolution No.2204 for the Vacation of the alley north of <br />Roger. Street From the west line of Fremont Stre et ' t o the east line of Yead a Street. <br />(See files for copy of resolution.) <br />Vacation Resolution No.2205 for the Vacation of the alley west of <br />Fremont Street from the north line of Roger Street -to the south line of the -alley north <br />of Roger Street, and from the north line of the alley north of -Roger Street to the <br />south line of Longley Avenue.. '(See files for cop4r' of resolution.) <br />In all of the above named vacation resolti ons, the Board hereby <br />orders that on the 24th. , day of April I929, this Board will meet in their office in <br />the City Hall at 7-I5 P. V. , to hear and receive remonstrances from all arsons whose <br />property may be affected by such vacations. The Board further orders that. notices of <br />said hearings shall be published on the 5th. , day of April and on the I2th. , day of <br />April 1929 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. <br />City engineer, H. G. :';tray, filed plans, specifications and estimates <br />and the Bspecifications- <br />oard adopted said plans and together iWth the following improve, <br />went resolutions: <br />Improvement Resolution No.2I99 for the 13avement of the first alley west <br />of Cottage Grove Avenue from Lincoln 711ay Test to Van Buren Street. (see files for copy <br />of resolution.) - <br />Improvement Resolution No.2200 for the local sewer im rovement in <br />rreenlawn Avenue Wetween the Grand Truce Western Railroad and Chester �treet. (See files <br />for cop�i of resolution.) <br />In both of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby <br />orders that on the 24th. , day of A,nril, I929, this Board will meet in their office in <br />the City Hall at 7-I5 P. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose <br />property is liable to be assessed for sadd improvements and will decide whether the <br />benefits to the several lots and, parcels of land liable to be assessed for such improve- <br />meats will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reported by the City Engineer. <br />The Board further orders that notices of such hearings shall be published in the South <br />Bend News Times and Tribune on the 5th., day of April and on the I2th., day of -April <br />1929, according to law. <br />This being the date set, hearing vias had on the assessment roll <br />showing the awards of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of the <br />condemnation of Sherman Avenue under Condemnation Resolution No.I768. <br />In -the above named assessment roll, the Board decides to continue <br />hearing on same until April IOth., 1929, at 7-I5 P. Y. <br />This being the date set, hearings were h}d on the following assessment <br />rolls, showing the awards of damages and the assessments of benefits: <br />Assessment roll for the Vacation of the alley south of Colfax Avenue <br />from Esther Street to Greenlawn Avenue under Vacation Resolution No.2232. <br />Assessment roll for the Vacation of the alley between Lot 18 in <br />Dinan's 2nd., Addition and all of Lot 17 om Dinan's 2nd., Addition except II feet off <br />of the south side from Crescent Avenue to Public Court under Vacation Resolution <br />No. 2I49. <br />Assessment roll for the Vacation of a mart of Division Street under <br />vacation Resolution No.2153. <br />In all of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared <br />and no written remonstrances were filed and the Bard, being fully advised n the <br />premises, takes final action on said assessment rolls, declaring same in all things <br />ratified, confirmed and approveff and' the. proceedings closed. <br />The Board ar,proved the clain of John F. ?iips'ci.nd under estimate <br />No.I for the labor and material furnished in connection iTrith emergency sewer in Sorin <br />Street in accordance with Improvement Resolution No.2I84, in the amount of 11,824.00. <br />.,above claim to be paid out of Appropriation No.N-I8 for the repair of sewers. <br />• <br />0 <br />0-1 <br />C] <br />-0 <br />�I <br />
