Wray, filed plans and the Board adopted said plans together with the following Vacation Resolutions: Vacation aesolution No.220I for the Vacation of the alley east of Yarietta Street from the south line of t�ubail avenue to the north line ,of the alley south of Dvbail, and from the south line of the alley south of Dubail Avenue to the north line of Dayton Street. (See files for copy of resolution.) Vacation Aesolution No.2202 for the Vacation of the -alley south of IDubail Avenue from the east line of Marietta street to the east line of TT,. Studebaker first and second Additions. (See files for copy of resolution.) Vacation Resolution No.2203 for the Vacation of Preemont .Street from. the north line of Roger 'street- to, the south linek- of Longley Avenue. (See files for copy of resolution.) Vacation Resolution No.2204 for the Vacation of the alley north of Roger. Street From the west line of Fremont Stre et ' t o the east line of Yead a Street. (See files for copy of resolution.) Vacation Resolution No.2205 for the Vacation of the alley west of Fremont Street from the north line of Roger Street -to the south line of the -alley north of Roger Street, and from the north line of the alley north of -Roger Street to the south line of Longley Avenue.. In all of the above named vacation resolti ons, the Board hereby orders that on the 24th. , day of April I929, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. V. , to hear and receive remonstrances from all arsons whose property may be affected by such vacations. The Board further orders that. notices of said hearings shall be published on the 5th. , day of April and on the I2th. , day of April 1929 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. City engineer, H. G. :';tray, filed plans, specifications and estimates and the Bspecifications- oard adopted said plans and together iWth the following improve, went resolutions: Improvement Resolution No.2I99 for the 13avement of the first alley west of Cottage Grove Avenue from Lincoln 711ay Test to Van Buren Street. (see files for copy of resolution.) - Improvement Resolution No.2200 for the local sewer im rovement in rreenlawn Avenue Wetween the Grand Truce Western Railroad and Chester �treet. (See files for cop�i of resolution.) In both of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby orders that on the 24th. , day of A,nril, I929, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property is liable to be assessed for sadd improvements and will decide whether the benefits to the several lots and, parcels of land liable to be assessed for such improve- meats will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board further orders that notices of such hearings shall be published in the South Bend News Times and Tribune on the 5th., day of April and on the I2th., day of -April 1929, according to law. This being the date set, hearing vias had on the assessment roll showing the awards of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of the condemnation of Sherman Avenue under Condemnation Resolution No.I768. In -the above named assessment roll, the Board decides to continue hearing on same until April IOth., 1929, at 7-I5 P. Y. This being the date set, hearings were h}d on the following assessment rolls, showing the awards of damages and the assessments of benefits: Assessment roll for the Vacation of the alley south of Colfax Avenue from Esther Street to Greenlawn Avenue under Vacation Resolution No.2232. Assessment roll for the Vacation of the alley between Lot 18 in Dinan's 2nd., Addition and all of Lot 17 om Dinan's 2nd., Addition except II feet off of the south side from Crescent Avenue to Public Court under Vacation Resolution No. 2I49. Assessment roll for the Vacation of a mart of Division Street under vacation Resolution No.2153. In all of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed and the Bard, being fully advised n the premises, takes final action on said assessment rolls, declaring same in all things ratified, confirmed and approveff and' the. proceedings closed. The Board ar,proved the clain of John F. ?iips'ci.nd under estimate No.I for the labor and material furnished in connection iTrith emergency sewer in Sorin Street in accordance with Improvement Resolution No.2I84, in the amount of 11,824.00. .,above claim to be paid out of Appropriation No.N-I8 for the repair of sewers. • 0 0-1 C] -0 �I
