All members ;resent. <br />I1-inutes of meetings held Yarch 19th. , and March 20th. , 1929, read and <br />approved.. <br />The Board signed the contr,�:et with C. 17. Reesh for the construction of <br />- <br />a local sewer in 6ntuc cy 6treet between Washington and Division. Street under Improve`- <br />ment Resolution No.2I82 in the amount of 2,454.80. The Board: also approved the construct <br />ion bond of sae for I00°6 of the contract price signed by the United States r=uarantee <br />Company. <br />The Board signed the contract with C. E. Reesh for the construction of <br />a local sewer in Vedd.e Street between Lincoln Way West and Vlwood Avenue under Improve- <br />ment Resolution No.2I83 in the amount of 2,977.IO. The Board also al)broved the con- <br />straction bond of same for I00% of the' contract price signed by the United States <br />Guarantee Company. <br />The Board signed the contract with Edward Di Julio for the construction of <br />a local seaver in Fremont Street from Elwood A venye to Keller Str=et under Im-orovement <br />Resolution No.218I in the amount of 2,806.10. The Board also approved the constru,ct,ioh <br />bond of same for Ir)O of the contract -.rice signed by the Standard accident Insurance <br />Cis mpR ny. <br />The Board approved the renewal certificate for the excavation bond of <br />Fred Putter signed by the London and Lancashire' Indemnity Clompeny of American. <br />The Board approved the renewal certificate for the excavation bond of <br />Albert W. Smith signed by the Yetropolitan Casualty Insurance Company of New York. <br />The Board approved a.private driveway located at I506 Kemble Avenue. <br />aids having been received for the construction of a local sewer in Bendix <br />Drive from Vlashingtgn Avenue to Ist. alley north of Division Street and in Jefferson <br />Street from Bendix rive to Liberty street under Improvement Resolution No.2154, the <br />Board this 26th., day of March 1929, hereby wxards the contract for this improvement <br />to Edward DiJulio at his low bid of 2,959.60. <br />This being the date set, bids were received opened and read for the <br />construction of the folltnving improvement: <br />West one half of :1]rnsperger Street from Lincoln 'day :East to a point 45" <br />north of the center line of •diver Avenye prodected under Improvement Resolution No.2176. <br />Bids are as follows: <br />H. 7. (See files for copy of resolution.) <br />In the above named improvement Resolution, the Board hereby orders that <br />on the I7th., day of April I9291 this Board will meet -in their office in the City Hall <br />at 7-I5 P. 1%, to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may <br />be affected by said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and parcels <br />of land will be benefited in the amount shown on the engineers estimate. The Board <br />father orders that notice of said hearing shall be published on the 29th'day of March <br />and on the 5th. , day of April 1929 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according <br />to law and that notices be mailed to property ovmers according to law. <br />�j City Engineer, R. G. '-dray, filed plans and the Board adopted said plans <br />together with Vacation Resolution No.2I96 for the Vacation of Bridge Street from <br />Colfax Avenue to LaSalle Avenue. (See files for copy of resolution.) <br />In the above named vacation resolution No.2I9%, the Board hereby orders <br />. that on the I7th. , day of April 1929, this Board will meet in their office in the City <br />Ball at 7-I5 P. h ., to hear and receive remonstrances from all -persons interested in <br />or affected by such vacation.
