Tuesday, February 19th., 1929. <br />323 <br />0 <br />0 <br />0 <br />The streets are hereby dedicated to the Public for the use of the publics as public <br />thoroughfares. <br />The purpose of recording this plat is to rectify some errors in the signatures <br />appearing on the dedication of the plat of Lincoln Highlands Addition recorded. in the <br />office of the recorder in St. Joseph ounty, Indiana, in plat book 13 pages 6 and 7. <br />IN 7ITNMS WH^RE, the owners,. the Progress Realty Company, ,through its President <br />Irving J. JCS^P?T) SS <br />Before rye; a Notary Public in and for said 6tate and County personally appeared <br />Irving J. rtoldstein, Presidnt and Esther Seifert, Secretary of the Progress fealty <br />Company and acknowledged the execution of the above attached plat as their free act and <br />deed. <br />signed Carrie Spencer, Notary Public. <br />ITTy commission expires January I9th. , I931." <br />The hollowing petition was filed by the Chicago, youth Bend and Northern.Indiana <br />Railway omra.ny : <br />"I am asking permission to erect ?poles from the west side of alley running rarallel <br />with Niles Avenue and Hill Street from Jefferson street to alley.bettween Washington <br />and Colfax.' These to be thirty foot poles for the purpose of carrying a feeder line <br />from the Colfax steam plant to Jefferson Street. �t the present we have a poleline <br />erected between Colfax and this terminating point in the alley between Washington <br />and Colfax..' I am asking that you take this up and ask for permission to erect these <br />doles. <br />Yours very truly, <br />A. T7. Buckley, Sept of Power." <br />The following recom-endation of tm. F. 'yualls, superintendent of poles and wire <br />was approved by the Board: <br />"As the trolley feeder referred to carries high voltage current and would endanger <br />other circuits if rlaced on same poles with them, I think it advisable to have the <br />feeder i3t placed on separate poles and as the alley between Niles and Hill Street is <br />convenient for this construction, I recommend that this petition be zranted. <br />Vir . Qualls, the Board approved the peition of the <br />Indiana Bell Telephone C o pany to place poles, cable and anchor guys in scattered <br />location north of the New York Central Railroad, in South Bend, as shorn on prints <br />No, I to 7 inclusive! <br />A=.ritten Appeal was filed by Burton S. Haswell from the decision of the Building <br />Commissioner in the ;utter of repairing the building at the southwest corner of Yiehiga" <br />Street and Colfax avenue. !,Tr. Haswell and attorney Hammerschmidt were present and Ij <br />after hearing all persons interested in the matter, the Board approved the Building `.°- II <br />Commissioner's decision in the matter. <br />
