<br />Improvement Resolution 110.2 6 for the 'pavement -on C„talpha Avenue from the
<br />South line of the St. Joseph, South Bend and Southern Railway Company's right of
<br />way to Cotter Street.. (See files for copy of resolution.)
<br />Improvement Resolution No.2I62 for the pavement on Laurel Street from
<br />Division Street to a point 130.56 ft. south of the south line of Monroe Street.

<br />Improvement Resolution No.P164 for the pavement of OtBrien Street from south
<br />line of Prast Street to south curb line of Wer-winski Court. (See files for copy of

<br />In all of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby orders
<br />that on the ,Uth, day of December I928, this Board will meet in their office in'
<br />the City Hall at 7-I5 P. Tf., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons
<br />whose property is liable to be assessed for sd,fd_ imITovements and will decide whether
<br />the benefits to the several lots and -parcels of land will be equal to the estime,ted
<br />costs of same as reported by the Cit;T 4agineer. The Board further orders that
<br />p04-ices of said hearings shall be published. on the 23rd. day of November and on the
<br />50th., day of November 1928,.in the South Bend News Time; and Tribune according to
<br />law and that notices be mailed to property owners according to law.
<br />The Board approved the claim of the Dow Chemical Company in the amount of
<br />I62.20 to be paid out of Street repair fund.
<br />City Engineer, H. G. 'Tray, filed plans, specifications and estimates and
<br />the Board adopted said plans and sp ecificatians together with the Reirdsed Modified
<br />Resolution No.4 for Grade separation at South Bend, Indiana. Resolutions is as

<br />THAT, whereas, on the 29th. , day of January I924, the Board of Public Works �
<br />of the City of youth Bend adopted Resolution N0.4 for the separation of grades of

<br />the New York Central Railroad Company where the same intersects the said streets
<br />in said City; and on the 9th. , day of January I925, the Board adopted Yodified

<br />railroad adjacent to and north of the 'yew Fork Central 1�ailroad has made arrangements
<br />to use the New York Central Railroad from High street westerly to a ?point between
<br />Arnold and Chapin Street, which will permit joint passenger station facilities, and
<br />'H'RS, it is deemed necessary for the public good that the grades of cer-
<br />tain streets of the City of South Bend, Indiana, where the same intersect the tracts
<br />of the railroad companies hereinafter named, be further changed and altered, and
<br />that the grades of the tracks of said railroad companies be al*bred and changed;
<br />NOW, T717REFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Public "orks of the City

<br />read as follows, to -wit:
