Olejniczak absent. <br />This being the date set, continued hearing was bad on Va ation Resolution <br />No,215r for the Vacation of c ertaln alleys in Summit Place 3rd., Adition and 4th., <br />Addition. (See files for copy of resolution. <br />In the above named vacation resolution, no remonstrators appeared and no <br />written remonstrance was filed and the Board, therefore, .decides to take final action <br />on said Vacation Resolution No.215I and declares said resolution in'all things <br />ratified', confirmed and approved and the alleys vacated. <br />The Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners and <br />holders of property and of valuable interebs therein sought to be taken or to be <br />affected by such vacation, which list or roll shall also,deseribe the property <br />beneficially affectedo <br />This being the date set, bids were received, opened and read for the <br />local sewer in Elmwood Avenue from Southwood to Greenlawn Avenue under Improvement <br />Resolution N,l.2I55. G. Wray, filed the following primary assessment rolls: <br />Assessment roll for the pavement on Kinyon Street from east line of Portage <br />Avenue to the east line of Lot 181 Northwest Addition under Improvement Resolution <br />No. 2I03. <br />Assessment roll for the pavement on the west one-half of Logan Street <br />from 1'-ishawaka Avenue to the north end of Aiver Midge under Improvement Resolution <br />No.2I00. <br />In both of the above named assessment rolls, the Board, hereby orders that <br />on the 21st. , day of November I928, this Board will meet in their office in the City <br />Hall at 7-I5 P. I.T., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property <br />has been assessed for said improvements -and will decide whether the several lots <br />and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said <br />primary assessment rolls or in a greater or less sum than that named on said rolls. <br />The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the <br />I6th., Day of November and on the I?th.,.day of November 1928, in the South Bend <br />News Times and Tribune .according to law. <br />The Board signed the contract with C. F. Reesh for the construction of the <br />local sewer in Brookfield Street from Elwood Avenye to Bulla Street under Improvement <br />Resolution No.2I57, in the amount of I;593.45. The Board also a-pproved the construct <br />ion bond of same for 100% of the contract Tice signed by the United States Guarantee <br />Com?nany of New York. <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the sewer <br />I# Huey Street from alley south of Frederickson Street to Elwood Avenue under Improve <br />ment Resolution No,2090. <br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written <br />remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds <br />that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts shown <br />on said roll. The. Board therefore, takes final .action on said assessment roll and <br />declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modofication and <br />the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roil delivered to the <br />Department of Finance. <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the <br />sewer in Elwood Avenue from Fedora Street to Huey Street under Improvement Resolution <br />No.2084. <br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written <br />
