<br />In all of the above named assessment roll$, the Board.hereby orders
<br />that on the 3Ist. , day of October 1928, this Board will meet in their -office in the.
<br />City Hall at 7-15 P. Y., to hear and receive remonstrances from all. persons whose
<br />property has been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the several
<br />lots and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said
<br />primary assessment rolls or in a greater or less sum than that shown on said rolls.
<br />The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be
<br />published on the 26th., day of October and on the 27th., of October 1928 in the South
<br />Bend News Times and Tribune according to law.
<br />City Engineer H. G. 111ray, filed primary assessment roll for the pave-
<br />ment of the alley between Lot I R.Tiller Addition and Lot 8 ' Fuerbringers Addition from
<br />Oak Street to alley south of Oak Street under Improvement. Resolution .No.2I47.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on
<br />the 3lst. , day of October I928, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall
<br />at 7-I5 P. Y., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has
<br />been assessed for said improvement and will decide.whether the several lots and parcels
<br />of land primarily assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the amounts named;
<br />on said roll or in a greater or less sum than that named on said roll.

<br />hereby awards the contract for said improvement to ydward Diffulio at his low bid of

<br />ai Street under Improvement Resolution No.g137, the Board this 24th., day of October 19289
<br />i; hereby awards the contract for said improvement to Edward DiJulio at his low bid of
<br />3,372.90.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the f ollowin improvement
<br />resolutions:
<br />Improvement Resolution No.2I45 for the grade, curb and walk improvement
<br />on 35th. , Street from Grand Trunk destern R. R. to the north line of Lots II2c and 94
<br />in Berton Addition. (see files for resolution.)
<br />11 Improvement Resolution No.2I44 for the pavement of Sample Street from
<br />the west line of Olive Street to the west property line of the X. J. & I. R. R. (see
<br />files cor cop_;r of res olution. )
<br />In both of the above named improvement resolutions, no remonstrators
<br />appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and. the Board, being fully advised in
<br />the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to
<br />be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported
<br />by the City Engineer. The Board, therefore, decides to tal final action on _said impro .11
<br />vement resolutions No..2145 and No.2144, and declares same in all things ratified, confirm-
<br />ed and approved withg4t modification....,
