Ole jniczak absent. <br />Due to the lack of a quorum, no business was transacted and all business <br />i scheduled for this time will be taken up .at the regular meeting on Wednesdar evening <br />at 7-15 P. 'dray, City Engineer, and Charles 4. Cole, engineer, also present. <br />This being the date set, continued hearing was had on Vacation Resolution <br />No.2140 for the vacation of the first alley east of Stanfield Street (a strip of land'al <br />along the east line of Harter Heights End., Addition) from Napoleon Street to Angella" <br />Avenue. <br />In the above named vacation resolution,- remonstrators appeared and <br />a written remonstrance was filed and the Board, after hearing all persons interested <br />in said vacation resolution, decides to continye hearing on same until Tuesday, <br />October 23rd., I928, at I0:00 A. M. <br />City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed primary assessment roll for the pave <br />meat on 22nd., Street from Jefferson Blvd., to south line of Pleasant Street under <br />Improvement Resolution No. 2064. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on <br />the 24th. day of October 1928, this Board will meet in their office in the City; <br />Hall at 7-I5 P. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property <br />has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and <br />parcels of land have -been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said roll. <br />The Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published on the <br />I9th. , ray of October and on the 20th. , day of October 1928, in the South Bend News <br />Times and Tribune according to law. <br />This being the date set, continued hearing was had on the following <br />assessment rolls: <br />Assessment roll for the pavement of Iadison Street from Palmer Blvd., <br />to Harriett/Street under Improvement Resolution No.2083. <br />�l <br />Assessment roll for the pavement and sewer improvement in Lincoln banor <br />Third Addition under Improvement Resole-tion No.208I. <br />In both of t he above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared <br />and no written remonstrances were .filed and the ,Board, being fully advised in the <br />premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said <br />improvements have been benefited in the amounts named on said primary rolls. The <br />Board, therefore, takes final action on said assessment rolls, and declares same in <br />all things ratified, confirmed and aplx-oved without modification and the proceedings <br />closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the department of <br />Finance. <br />City 1gineer, H.,-G. Wray, filed primary assessment roll for the grade, <br />curb and walk improvement on Orange Street from _Birdsell Street to alley west of <br />Birdsell Street under Improvement Resolution N0.20I8.
