i <br />Minutes of meetings held October 2nd. , and October 3rd. 1928 , read ai <br />approved. <br />j <br />The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the iilliston donstructon <br />Company for the resurfacing of North Shore Drive from a point 150 feet west of the <br />we^t line of tafayette Street to the west line of Irquoise Street under Improvement <br />Resolution No.2076, in the amount of 869,03 signed by Inland Bonding Company. <br />�i The Board. approved the Ggrantee Bond of Alex Bukowski for the pave <br />ment of the first alley east of 23rd. , treat from Mishawaka Avenue to` Wall Street <br />under Improvement Resolution N0.2098, in the amount of 189.68 signedby United States <br />Guarantee dompany. <br />City-'ngineer, H. G. Fray, submitted partial estimate No.I for the <br />heavy traffic sheet asphalt pavement improvement on Greenlawn Avenyte from the north <br />j line of Colfax Avenue to the south line of Sunnymede Avenue, .in accordance with the <br />terms of the contract between the City and the Williston Construction Company under <br />Improvement Resolution No.2134., The Board signed and approved same in the amount of <br />25,173.13. <br />City 36gineer, H. G. Wray, submitted partial estimate No.I for the <br />sewer and heavy traffic sheet asphalt pavement improvement on Angella Avenue from the <br />east line of arter Heights Addition to Notre Dame Avenue in accordance with the <br />terms of the contract between the City and the Williston Construction ompany, con- <br />tractors, under Improvement Resolution No.2I26. The Board signed and approved same <br />in the amount of 46,0I9.24. <br />City agineer, H. G. =dray, submitted partial *estimate No.4 for the <br />sewer and light traffic concrete pavement improvement in Summit Place Fifth Addition, <br />in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and Harry N. Barnes,. <br />contractor, under Improvement Resolution .No.2078. The Board signed and approved same <br />in the amount of 27, 6I6.5I. <br />The Board anpro ve d a drive way at 1114 N.. Fremont Street <br />owned by <br />W. Cox. <br />This being the date set, <br />hearings were had on the fa-llowing assessments <br />ro I is : <br />A <br />Assessment roll for the <br />grade, curb and walk improvement <br />on Sampson <br />Street from Calvert Itreet to Ewing Avenue under Improvement Resolution <br />No.2073. <br />Assessment roll for the <br />grade, curb and walk improvement <br />on Iowa Street <br />from Jefferson <br />Otreet to �Aashington Avenue under Improvement Resolution <br />No.2IIO. <br />Assessment roll for the <br />grade, curb and walk improiaement <br />on Lake- Street <br />from Jefferson <br />Boulevard to Washington <br />Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2III. <br />Assessment roll for the pavement of the Ist. , alley east of 23rd. , <br />Stie e t from Mishawaka Avenye to Wall Street under Improvement Resolution No. 2098. <br />In all of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators appearhd <br />and no written remonstrances were file,' and the Board being fully advised in the <br />premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land, primarily assessed for <br />said improvements have been benefited in the amounts named on said assessment rolls. <br />The Board, therefore, takes final action on said assessment rolls, declaring same <br />in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. The <br />Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance. <br />This being the d to set, hearing was had on. the assessment roll for <br />the resurfacing of North Shore Xive from a point 150 feet west of the- west line of <br />Lafayette Street to the west line of Irquois Street under Improver ent Resolution <br />No. 2076. <br />In the .above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared but a <br />wrttten remonstrance was filed by B. A. Tuttle against the assessment on Lots 137 <br />and 138 and the land opposite each lot. After due consideration, the Board finds <br />that the several 1 of s and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement <br />have been benefited in the amounts named on said roll and therefore, the Board <br />decides to take final action on said prinary assessment roll and declares same in <br />all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceed- <br />ings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department <br />of finance. <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following improvem <br />r e s olutions : <br />Improvement Resolt.tion No.2139 for the local sewer improvement on <br />Fremont Street between Lincoln Way West and Humbolt Street. <br />Improvement Resolution No.2137 for the local sewer improvement on <br />• <br />0 <br />• <br />0 <br />rj <br />n <br />U <br />• <br />
