i Minutes of meetings held October 2nd. , and October 3rd. 1928 , read ai approved. j The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the iilliston donstructon Company for the resurfacing of North Shore Drive from a point 150 feet west of the we^t line of tafayette Street to the west line of Irquoise Street under Improvement Resolution No.2076, in the amount of 869,03 signed by Inland Bonding Company. �i The Board. approved the Ggrantee Bond of Alex Bukowski for the pave ment of the first alley east of 23rd. , treat from Mishawaka Avenue to` Wall Street under Improvement Resolution N0.2098, in the amount of 189.68 signedby United States Guarantee dompany. City-'ngineer, H. G. Fray, submitted partial estimate No.I for the heavy traffic sheet asphalt pavement improvement on Greenlawn Avenyte from the north j line of Colfax Avenue to the south line of Sunnymede Avenue, .in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and the Williston Construction Company under Improvement Resolution No.2134., The Board signed and approved same in the amount of 25,173.13. City 36gineer, H. G. Wray, submitted partial estimate No.I for the sewer and heavy traffic sheet asphalt pavement improvement on Angella Avenue from the east line of arter Heights Addition to Notre Dame Avenue in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and the Williston Construction ompany, con- tractors, under Improvement Resolution No.2I26. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of 46,0I9.24. City agineer, H. G. =dray, submitted partial *estimate No.4 for the sewer and light traffic concrete pavement improvement in Summit Place Fifth Addition, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and Harry N. Barnes,. contractor, under Improvement Resolution .No.2078. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of 27, 6I6.5I. The Board anpro ve d a drive way at 1114 N.. Fremont Street owned by W. Cox. This being the date set, hearings were had on the fa-llowing assessments ro I is : A Assessment roll for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Sampson Street from Calvert Itreet to Ewing Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2073. Assessment roll for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Iowa Street from Jefferson Otreet to �Aashington Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2IIO. Assessment roll for the grade, curb and walk improiaement on Lake- Street from Jefferson Boulevard to Washington Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2III. Assessment roll for the pavement of the Ist. , alley east of 23rd. , Stie e t from Mishawaka Avenye to Wall Street under Improvement Resolution No. 2098. In all of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators appearhd and no written remonstrances were file,' and the Board being fully advised in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land, primarily assessed for said improvements have been benefited in the amounts named on said assessment rolls. The Board, therefore, takes final action on said assessment rolls, declaring same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance. This being the d to set, hearing was had on. the assessment roll for the resurfacing of North Shore Xive from a point 150 feet west of the- west line of Lafayette Street to the west line of Irquois Street under Improver ent Resolution No. 2076. In the .above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared but a wrttten remonstrance was filed by B. A. Tuttle against the assessment on Lots 137 and 138 and the land opposite each lot. After due consideration, the Board finds that the several 1 of s and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the amounts named on said roll and therefore, the Board decides to take final action on said prinary assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceed- ings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of finance. This being the date set, hearings were had on the following improvem r e s olutions : Improvement Resolt.tion No.2139 for the local sewer improvement on Fremont Street between Lincoln Way West and Humbolt Street.
