F. qualls, the Board approved the <br />following street lights: <br />2500 lumen light at the intersection of Pulaski and iubail Streets at <br />a cost of 35.00 per ,year. <br />4000 lumen light at the intersection of Huron and liberty Streets at <br />a cost of. 45,00 per year. <br />4000 .lumen light at the intersection of Ford and Bendix Drive at a <br />cost of 45.00 per, y ear. <br />6000 l'u.men light on Vain Street between LaSalle and Madison Streets <br />. <br />at a cost of 57.50, per year. <br />Upon the recommendation of elm. F. Quills, the Board rejects the <br />petition for a light at the intersection of Dunham and Bendix Drive and also at the <br />intersection of Ford and Phillpa Streets and also at Huron Street and the alley east <br />of Meade Street <br />Assistant Chief of Police, John J. Kuespert, presented the following, <br />proposals for the construction of hanger at the Municipal Air Port: <br />George L. Mesker 3,560.00 net F. 0. B South Bend: . <br />Stefeo Steel Co, 3,325.00 net F. 0. B. South Bend. <br />%wards Mfg. Co. 6,500.00 net F. 0. B: Cincinnati,, Ohio. <br />Rachte Aros, Co. 39910.00 F. 0. B. Madison, Wis. <br />Fsline �'ompany 4,036.00 net F. 0. B. South Bend <br />Upon the recommendation of sraistant thief John. J. Kuespert-, the <br />Board awards the contract for airplance hangar to Yesker & Company at their bid price <br />of$3, 560.00 net South Bend, Indiana $ as outlined in their proposal of 'Ieptember 22, I928. <br />Claims amounting to 5,800.78 signed and approved by the Board. <br />The Board aproved the salary of H. G. Wray, Engineer, for 333.33 <br />and that of Hazel A. Turner, Jerk, for $I00.00, to be paid out of track elevation fund <br />and hereby orders City Controller to pay same. <br />This 'being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for <br />the pavement improvement in Northwest Addition, including King, Queen, Kinyon,Ybftrtney,' <br />and Blaine Avenue, under Improvement Resolution Teo-206I. <br />In the above named assessment roll, remonstrators appeared but no <br />written remonstrances were filed and the Board, after hearing all persons interested in <br />said assessment roll, decides to. modify the primary assessment roll by increasing the <br />assessments on all corner lots in the amount of $I00.00 each and reducing the assessments <br />on all other lots in -proportion, 1ith this 'modif ication the Board finds that -the <br />-_several- lots -and parcels `of land `primarily�assessed-1'f'or said. -improvement have been <br />r'tenefted . in :the _.amounts named: on said .modified : assessment -ro-11 and ther-efore, - the <br />s.�Raard :take-s final action on said roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirm-6 <br />ed., and approved and the proceedings closed.
