Wednesday t ening, July 25th. , 1928. <br />Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. 1% 1,Tr. W. R. Hinkle absent. <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the. following improve- <br />m en t re s olu.t i on s: <br />Improvement Resolution Ho.2087 for the pavement on Altgeld Street from <br />west line of T arine Street to the east line of Miami Heights Addition. <br />Improvement Resolution No.2064 for the pavement on 2a:d. , Street from <br />the south line of the concrete pavement on Jefferson Blvd., to the north end of the <br />St. Joseph River ridge. <br />Improvement Resolution No.2I03 for the pavement on 1 inyon Street from <br />the east line of Portage Avenue to the eastline of Lot 181 in Northwest Addition <br />Improvement Resolution No.2088 for the pavement on Victoria Street <br />from the east curb line of Miami Street to the east line of Miami Heights Addition. <br />pa 6vement Resolution No.2IOI for the grading of the alley south of <br />Dubail Avenue from Kemble Street to Douglas Street. <br />,In all of the above named improvement resolutions, no remonstrators <br />appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in <br />the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable <br />to be assessed for said improvements will be equal to the estimated costs of same as <br />reported by the City Fn.girieer.- The Board, therefore, decides to take final action <br />on said improvement resolutions, and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed <br />and approved, <br />In all of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board .now orders <br />that on the 7th. , day of August 31 1928, this Board will receive, openg and consider <br />sealed proposals up to I0100 A. I% for the construction of said improvements. The <br />Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall be published in the South <br />Bend News Times and Tribune on the 26th., day of July and on the arid. , day of August <br />1928 according to law. <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following improve <br />ment resolutions: <br />Improvement Resolution T1o.2IO4 for the pavement of the first alley <br />north of LaSalle Avenue from Lafayette 'street to the first alley west of Lafayette. <br />Improvement Resolution No. 2093 for the pavement of the north one half <br />of Ford Street from the east line of Lake Street to the west line of Iowa Street. <br />Improvement resolution No.2I00 for the pavement of the west one half <br />of Logan 'street from Mishawaka Avenue to the north end of the St. Joseph River Bridge. <br />Improvement resolution-?o.2095 for the pavement of the east one half <br />of La'-ce "treet from the south line of "ivision Street to the north line of Ford Street: <br />Improvement Resolution No.2094 for the pavement of the south one half <br />of. "estmoor Street from the west line of Olive Street to the east line of Lincoln <br />Manor Third Addition. <br />In all of the above named improvement resolutions, no remonstrators <br />appeared and no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised <br />in the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land <br />liable to be assessed for said improvements will be equal to the estimated costs of <br />same as reported by the City engineer. The Board, therefore, decides to take firm <br />action on said improvement resolutions and declares same in all things ratified, <br />confirmed and approved without modification. <br />The Board now orders in all of the above named improvement resolutions <br />that on the 7th., day of August, 1928, this Board will receive, open and read sealed <br />proposals for the construction of said improvements -up to I0-00 A. The Board <br />further orders that notices of said proposals shall be published in the South Bend <br />News Times and Iribune on the 26th., day of July and on the 2nd. , day of August, 1928 <br />according to law. <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following improve <br />ment resolutions: <br />Lmprovement Resolution No.2099 for the pavement of the first alley <br />north of 0orby treet from Niles Avenue to Stanfield Street. <br />Improvement Resolution No.209I for the pavement of the alley west <br />of Forest Avenue from Portage Avenue to a point six and four tenths feet (6.4) north <br />of the north line of the first alley south of Riverside 'rive. <br />Improvement Aesolution 110.2098 for the pavement of the first alley <br />east of 23rd. , street from ?i�ishawal�a avenue to Mall Street. <br />In all of the above named improvement resolutions, remonstrators. <br />appeared and written remonstrances were filed. after hearingall persons interested <br />in said improvements and being fully advised in the pretis es, the Board finds that <br />the benefits to the several lots and parcels of lam liable_ to be assesed for said <br />improvement will be equal. to the estimated costs of same as reported by the City. <br />• <br />1�1 <br />• <br />• <br />
