MI - <br />Tuesday, ..June 12th., 1928. <br />The Board approved a drive way at 230 `ast Calvert street. <br />City Engineer, H. G. 17ray, filed and the Board adopted <br />the following primary assessment rolls: <br />Assessment roll for the sewer in College Street from Humboldt <br />Street to Vassar Street under_ Improvement Resolution No.2028. <br />Assessment roll for the sewer in Brookfield Street from <br />Humboldt Street to Vassar Street under Improvement -aesoluti on No, 2030. <br />Assessment roll for the .sewer to 9ollege Street from'-lwood <br />.venue to Xe ll er Street under I:mp roveffien t Resolution No. I954. <br />In all of the above named assessment rolls, .the Board hereby, <br />orders that on the 2'7th., day of ie, 1928, this Board will meet in their office in <br />the Citr Hall at 7-I5 P. If. , to hear and receive remonstrances from, all persons whose <br />property has been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the several <br />lots and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said <br />assessment -rolls or in a greater or less sum than that named on said assessment rolls. <br />The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published in the South <br />Bend News Imes and Tribune on the I5th. , day of June and on the 22nd. , day of June, <br />1928, according to law. <br />Claims amounting _ t 6 9 , 882.93 signed and approved by the <br />j Board. <br />City n ineer, H. G. 'Wray, filed plans and the Board adopted' <br />same together withe the following Resolutions: <br />I! Condemnation yes oluti on No.2086 for the condemnation of the <br />following pro oerty: Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 8 Bronson's Survey(which <br />i point is also in the west line of Ist., alley east of Michigan Street), thence westerly <br />along the south line of said lot 8 to the easterly line of Michigan street; thence <br />if south along the said easterly line cf Michigan 'tre et fourteen feet (I4') , thence <br />! east parallel to and fourteen feet (I41) south of the south 1 ine of said Lot8 Bronson's <br />Sur. <br />one hundred fifty-six abd forty-six one hundredths feet (156.46), theme south- <br />easterly to a point in the westerly line of the first alley east of Michigan treet <br />(which point is nineteen feet (W) south of the southeast corber of Lot 8 Bronson's <br />`'a vey; thence north along the -west line of said above mentioned alley nineteen feet <br />(191) to the place of beginning. <br />Vacation `resolution No,2085 for the vacation of the following <br />property: Beginning at a point where the west line of the first alley east of Michigan' <br />Street intersects the south line of Bronson Street (whihh point is also ,the northeast <br />corner of lot No.8 Bronson's ,Survey;) thence south along the west line of the first <br />alley east of Michigan Street to. its intersection. with the southerly right-of-way line <br />of the New York Central Railway; thence southeasterly to a point, where the easterly <br />line of said alley intersects the southerly right-of-way line of the said New York <br />Central Railway; thence north along the east line of the first alley east of Michigan <br />Street to a point where said line intersects the southerly line of Bronson Street; <br />thence west along the south line. of Bronson street to the place of beginning. <br />In both of of the above named re solut i ons No. 2085 and <br />LT 2,086, the Board hereby orders that on the 25th. , day of July, 1928, this Board will <br />meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. Ry'., to hear and receive. remonstrances <br />from all persons whose property may be affected by said proceedings.
