Tuesday,Aril 24th. , 1928. p _ Board met in regular session at 9 A. M. All members present. � j Minutes of meetings held April 17th., and April I8th., 1928, read and approved. . j The Hoard approved the contractor's Bond ofI,00000 in favor of Oliver Chilled Plow Yorks, signed by T. A. Freeman and A. A. Frederick as personal sureties. The Board approved the bond for excavation in the amount of I,000.00 • in favor of Veto Morino signed by the 6onstitution Indemnity Company of Philadelphia. • 0 The Board approved the renewal certffi.cate for the excavation bond �{ in fa vnr of Distler Plumbing,, and ideating o., signed by the Aetna Casualty and Surety Co. l i City engineer, H. G. Wray, submitted the following reports 'on written , remonstrances recently filed against improvements: Sai reports were approved by Board.!! "With the return of the attached remonstrance against the paving of the first alley west of Sherman Avenue from Oak street to Lincoln 'Alay +hest, I sutn'oit the ,I following report: There are 48 resid=nt property o,rners residing -on this alley, 13 of whom have signed the remonstrance. " "With the return of the attached remonstrance against the improvement c Thirty-sixth Street from Mishawaka Avenue to North Side Boulevard, 1 respectfully submit the following report: There are 30 resident property holders residing on this improvement, 13 of whom have signed the remonstrance. The Board, hereby, orders that on the 8th., day of May, 1928, this Board will receive, open and consider sealed proposals for the construction of the following improvements: Pavement on 36th. , `'treet from i ishawa] revenue to North Side Boulev under Improvement Resolution No.2014. Pavement- on 30th. , Street from Mishawaka Avenue to North Side Boulev under Improvement Resolution No.20I3. Pavement of the alley west of Sherman Avenue from Oak Street to Lincoln Way 'iyest under Improvement Resolution No.20I5. The Board .further orders that notices of said proposals for the above named improvements shall be published on the 27th. , day of April and on the 4th. day of May, 1928, in the South Bend Nevis Times and tribune according t.o law.
