Y. All members present.. <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following improve <br />went resolutions- <br />Imrrovement Resolution No.20I7 for the grade, curb and walk on <br />Kentucky Street from Crumstown Woad to Lincoln "ay 'hest. (See files for resolution.) <br />Improvement resolution No.20I8 for tha .grade, curb and walk on <br />Orange Itreet from Birdsell otreet to alley west of Birdsell street. (See files for <br />resolution.) <br />Improvement Resolution No .2016 for the pavement of Luring avenue <br />from vest line of Leer atreet to Ernsperger street. (See files for resolution.) <br />Improvement Resolution No.2036 for the pavement of the first alley <br />i south of E1dre Street from the east line of the 2nd., alley west of Carroll Street to <br />the second alley east of Michigan Otreet. <br />(See files for resolution.) <br />In all of the above named improvement resIDluti ons, no remonstrators <br />Ij appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in <br />the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable <br />to be assessed for said improvements will be equal to the estimated costs of same <br />as reported by the City Civil Engineer. The Board, therefore, takes final action bn <br />said d pea sm traik&olutions and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and <br />approved. <br />The Board now orders that sealed proposals will be received, opened <br />and read for the construction of the above named improvements up to IO:00 A. of the <br />th , day of May, I928. - The Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall <br />be published on the 27t,}, day of April and on the _4t1i:.day of .far, 1928, in the <br />South Bend News Times .and Tribune according to law. <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution <br />No.20I5 for the pavement of the alley west of Sherman Avenue from Oak Street to Lincoln <br />Way 'West. ( See files for resolution.) <br />In the ab ove named Improvement Resolution, remon- <br />strators appeared and a written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully <br />advised in the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of <br />land liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to estimated cost of same <br />as reported.by the City Civil Engineer. The Board, therefore, decides to overrule said <br />remonstrance, and d°clares said improvement resoluti on r�o.20I5 in all things ratified, <br />J confirmed and approved.
