Wend e s day <br />r�__ ening, <br />April Ilth. , 1928 , <br />IR <br />0 <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />0 <br />In all of -the above named improvement resolutions, remonstrators appeared. ! <br />and written remonstrances were filed and: the Board, being fully advised in the premises I� <br />finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed <br />for said improvements, will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reported by <br />the City Civil Baiginner. The Board, therefore, decides to over rule said remonstrances <br />and declares said improvement resolutions, in all things ratified, confirmed and <br />approved and the proceedings closed. The Board n.osd orders said written remonstrances i <br />delivered to the City, Engineer for final check as to resident property owners. l <br />City En.ginner, filed the primary assessment roll for the grading improve- <br />ment of the alley south of Calvert titre et from Chapin wtreet to Kendall Street under <br />Improvement Resolution No.I966. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the <br />I8th. , day of April 1923, this Board will meet to hear and receive remonstrances from <br />all persons whose property has been assessed for said improvement and will decide <br />whether the several lots and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the <br />amounts named on said assessment roll or in a greater or less amount. The Board <br />fmrther orders that notices of said hearing shall be published on the Nth., day <br />I <br />April and on the I4th. , day of April, 1928, in the South Bend News Times and <br />lr ibune , according to law. <br />City Engineer, filed the following tabulations of bids: <br />Bids f or the construction of grade and walk on the west side of Kaley <br />Street from the north curb line of Linden Avenue to Ist. , alley north of Linden Avenue <br />under Improvement Resolution No.2004. <br />Eston Ball 165.15 <br />Bids for the construction of grade, curb and walls on the west side of-, <br />Fellows StreeU from Fairview Avenue to Irvington Avenue under Improvement Resolution <br />No.2003. <br />Eston Ball 385.10 <br />Bids for the construction of grade and walk on south side of Ewing Avenue <br />from Hoke Street to Ernsperger atreet under Improvement Resolution No.I999. <br />Eston Ball 635.60 <br />Bids having been received for the construction of grade and walk on the <br />west side of Kaley Street from the north curb lime of Linden Avenue to Ist., alley <br />north of -Linden Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2004, the Bo=_rd this IIth., <br />day of A ri l 1928, hereby awards the contract for said improvement to Es t on Ball at <br />his low tid of 165.I5. <br />Bids having been received for the constructio# of grade, curb and wagk on <br />the west side of Fellows Street from Fairview Avenue to Irvington Avenue under Improve <br />ment Resolution No.2003, the Board this IIth. , day of April 1928, hereby awards the <br />contract for said improvement to Eston Ball at his lo;a bid of 385.10. <br />Bids having been received for the construction of grade and walk on the <br />south side of Ewing Avenue from Hoke Street to Ernsperger Street, the Board this <br />IIth., day of April, 1928, hereby awards the contract for said improvement to Eston <br />Ball tt his low bid of 635, 60. <br />The follovring tabulations of bids were filed by the Cit-r 'Engineer: <br />Tabulation of bids for the: pavement of the alley north of Peashway Street <br />.from St. Joseph Street to Forst Street under Improvement Resolution Zdo.2002. <br />Snyder Const. Barnes Hoban & Roach <br />Concrete Informal 241501/50 <br />Bids having been received for the pavement on Jefferson Blvd from the <br />east line of Greenlawn Avenue to the east Line of Jefferson Heights Addition under <br />improvement resolution N6.2045, the Board this Ilth., day of April 1928, hereby <br />awards the contract for said improvement to Hoban and Roach at their low bid of <br />
