<br />The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, hereby certifies as follows:
<br />That there is a contract, dated March 25, 1957 by and between the City of South Bend, Indiana, and Cecil
<br />E. Dale d,b/a Osceola Crane Service for the construction by said Cecil E. Dale d,b/a Osceola Crane Service
<br />of a local sewer on Pershing Street from 149 feet west of Johnson Street to Elmer Street. 1
<br />That said Cecil E. Dale djb/a Osceola Crane Service has completed the construction of said improvement a-
<br />ccording to the terms of said contract and that the final amount of said contract is $4,659.38 in cash,
<br />from the City of South Bend, Indiana, in the manner provided by law.

<br />IN THE MATTER relating to the Local Sewer Improvement on Campau Street made under Improvement Resolution
<br />No. 2350, 1957 and the plans and specifications, therefor comes now Cecil E. Dale, who being duly sworn
<br />upon oath deposes and says he is acquainted with Cecil E. Dale d/b/a Osceola Crane Service the party to
<br />Whom was awarded the contract and who perforreed the work under Improvement Resolution No. 2850, 1957.

<br />That he is familiar with and personally knows the requirements of the contract, plans and specifications f
<br />said improvement and further knows that the said Cecil E. Dale d/b/a Osceola Crane Service in the
<br />perfor-mance of said work complied with all the terms and conditions of said contract, plans and specifications
<br />in every particular, and that the material used was of the character, kind, quantity and quality required
<br />therein and according to and under the direction of the Board of Public "forks and Safety of the City of

<br />We hereby certify that the contract between the City of South Bend, Indiana, Owner, and the Cecil E. Dale

<br />from approximately 135 feet Nest of Jacob Street, East to Jacob Street under Improvement Resolution No.
<br />2850, 1957 has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications for this project.

<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Final
<br />Estimate and Primary Assessment Roll submitted to theBoard by the City C'_vil Engineer, or his duly author-
<br />ized representative on this 3rd day of June, 1957 on the improvement knows as the Campau Street - local
<br />sewer as described in Improvement Resolution No. 2850, 1957, passed by the Board of Public Works and Safet
<br />on February 18, 1957, be and confirmed by said Board on March 4, 1957, be and the same is hereby adopted
<br />and the Clerk of this Board is hereby requested to give notice of the hearing of Special Benefits on said
<br />Improvement, as required by Section N. 111 or 120 of an Act entitled, "An Act Concerning Municipal Corpora
<br />tions" approved March 6, 1905.
