50 VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2853, 1957 This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award of damages and the asse ment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of LOCKE STREET FROtMI THE WEST LINE OF IOWA STREET WEST 120 ALSO, FROM THE EAST LINE OF A 19 FOOT PUBLIC ALLEY( OR RIGHT OF WAY) EAST 120 FEET, under Resolution No. 2 1957. In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed. Th Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of notices and same were found sufficient, and the Boar therefore finds that the several lots have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board, therefore decides to take final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modifiation and the proceedings closed, and the alley vacated up- on receipt of the amount of benefit assessments from the various property owners so benefited and all pro- ceedings had with reference to said vacation are hereby sustained. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:30 A.V. (DST). May 27, 1957 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on 'V;onday, Iv;ay 27, 1957 at 10:00 A.Mi. (DST). All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved.
