Minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved. Mr. Anderson of the Northern Indiana Transit Company submitted to the Board a new list of bus and time sched- ules. Accepted and taken under advisement. Schedules to become effective, June 1, 1957. The Civil Air Patrol requests permission to conduct a tag day on June 1st, 1957 on the downtown.:streets. Permission granted. A petition .was received from tvir. and Mrs. P. Budny and several others requesting the improvement of Dundee Street from Western Avenue to Jefferson Street by the construction of a trunkline sewer according to law. Petition hereby referred to the City Engineering Department for investigation and recommendation. The following traffic signs were installed: Stop sign on LaSalle Street, northwest corner, at LaPorte Avenue Stop sign on Carroll Street, both sides, at Victoria Street Yield Right of Way Signs installed on Rexford Street, both sides at (Manchester Drive. Contractor's bonds weFe approved for Keith K. Carbiener. Supplemental Agreement #3 of Jefferson Boulevard pavement improvement, South Bend, Indiana is hereby approved by the Board this 20th day of May, 1957. Callix E. Miller submitted to the Board Change Order H.V. TC. & P.1, for Fire Station No. 14, dated May 18, 1957 for additional plumbing works. Accepted and approved this 20th day of May, 1957. Verner L. Lane, Building Commissioner, requests permission to attend Indiana Inspector's Committee Conven- tions meeting to be held in Indianpolis on May 24, 1957. Permission granted. 3 i�
