<br />upon the final adoption and confirmation of this resolution, and placed on file in the office of the Board
<br />of Public Works and Safety of said City, and such improvement is now ordered.
<br />j The total cost of said improvement, including all incidental costs such as advertising, abstracting, in- 1
<br />spection and engineering, shall be assessed upon the real estate abutting on said Pershing Street to be
<br />improved, all according to the method and manner provided for in an Act of the General Assembly of the
<br />State of Indiana, entitled, "An Act Concerning Municipal Corporations" approved March 6th, 1905 and an Acti
<br />of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana, entitled "An Act Concerning Municipal Corporations" Approved
<br />February 27, 1943, and in accordance with and pursuant to the General Assembly of the State of Indiana.
<br />Assessments, if deferred, are to be paid in five (5) equal installments, with interest at the rate of six
<br />(6) per cent per annum. Assessments, either cash or deferred, and such costs as said City is by said en-
<br />titled Acts and provisions of all Acts amendatory and supplemental thereto, required to pay, shall paid �
<br />into the General Improvement Fund of the City.of South Bend, Indiana. All costs in the making of said Im-
<br />provement shall be paid from said General Improvement Fund. All proceedings had and work done in making
<br />of said improvement, assessment of property, collection of assessments and and issuance of bonds therefor,,
<br />j shall be as provided for in said entitled Act and amendments thereto. "!
<br />The 4th day of March, 19579 at the hour of 10:00 A.M. (CST) is hereby fixed as the time, and the office of11
<br />the Bcard in said City as the place, when and where all persons whose property may be affected by such prol-
<br />posed improvement, may be heard,and all petitions and remonstrances, received and the Board will, on said
<br />day, decide whether the benefits accruing to abutting and adjacent property, and to the City of South Bend;
<br />Indiana, will be equal to or exceed the estimated cost of said improvement, The Clerk of the Board is here-
<br />by ordered to give notice by two weekly publications, of the time and place of hearing of this resolution.;
