<br />Notice to Property Owners
<br />i
<br />�BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that it deemed'!
<br />necessary to improve Campeau Street from approximately 185 feet west of Jacob Street to Jacob Street by the
<br />;construction of a local sewer, intended and adapted only for local use by the property owners whose prop-
<br />1,erty abuts thereon and not intended or adapted for receiving sewage from collateral drains. Said sewer to
<br />'be fifteen (15) inches in diameter, and said sewer, with all its appurtenances, shall be constructed in a-
<br />ccordance with the profiles, drawings, plans, general detials and specifications of such improvement approved
<br />'February 18, 1957, and to be adopted by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />.Indiana, immediately upon the final adoption and confirmation of this resolution, and placed on file in the'
<br />,office of the Board of Public Works and Safety of said City, and such improvement is now ordered.
<br />The total Bost of the said improvement, including all incidental costs such as advertising, abstracting, in
<br />spection and engineering, shall be assessed upon the real estate abutting on said Campau Street to be im-
<br />proved, all according to the method and manner provided for in an Act of the General Assembly of the State:'!
<br />of Indiana, entitled, "An Act Concerning Municipal Corporations" approved March 6th, 1905 and an Act of the'
<br />General Asse#ly of the State of Indiana, entitled "An Act Concerning Municipal Corporations" approved
<br />February 27, 1953 and in accordance with and pursuant to the General Assembly of the State of Indiana.
<br />Assessments, if deferred, are to be paid in five (5( equal installments, with interest at the rate of six
<br />(6) per cent per annum. Assessment, either cash or deferred, and such costs as said City is by said en- j
<br />titled Acts and provisions of all Acts amendatory and supplemental thereto, required to pay, shall be paid;'
<br />into the General Improvement Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana. All costs in the making of said im-
<br />provement shall be paid from said General Improvement Fund. All proceedings had and work done in making
<br />of said improvement, assessments and issuance of bonds therefor, shall be as provided for in said entitled
<br />Act and amendments thereto.

<br />The 4th day of March, 1957, at the hour of 10:00 A.M. (CST), is hereby fixed as the time, and the office of!
<br />the Board in said City as the place, when and where all persons whose property may be affected by such pro-j
<br />posed improvement, may be heard, and all petitions and remonstrances, received and the Board, will on said -pay,
<br />decide whether the benefits accruing to abutting and adjacent property, and to the City of South Bend, Indi na,
<br />will be equal to or exceed the estimated cost of said improvement, The Clerk of the Board is hereby ordered
<br />to give notice by two weekly publications, of the time and place of hearing of this resolution.
