TYPE <br />Cab Shield: <br />Telescopic <br />Hoist: <br />DESCRIPTION <br />Cab shield Shall be 7 Ga 20194 stainless high strength steel <br />whypical yield strength of 50,000 PSI. Cab shield shall extend 24" <br />and be full width and shall be attached by welding. Cab shield shall <br />have six (6) laser cut oval holes pre punched at the factory for <br />emergency oval strobes facing forward. Cab shield shall have six (6) <br />laser cut oval holes pre punched at the factory for emergency oval <br />strobes facing rearward. Cab shield shall also have two (one per <br />side) Iaser cut oval holes mounted on the side of the cab shield <br />facing sideways. <br />The hoist shall be of telescopic design and have a Trunnion <br />mounting. <br />The hoist shall have a lifting capacity of 35 tons and shall be equal <br />to a Mailhot es130-5.5w3 stage double acting. <br />The hoist shall be designed to operate up to 2,500 PSI, and shall be <br />self -bleeding. <br />The hoist shall have a 1/4" wall construction with bronze glands and <br />pistons to assure a smooth and durable bearing surface. <br />The glands shall each be a continuous cast bearing, SAE-660 <br />bronze with a tensile strength of 44,000 PSI. <br />The cylinder head and piston shall be of a "ductile" continuously <br />cast iron, with a tensile strength of 60,000 PSI. <br />Each cylinder shall be internally sealed. <br />The inside seats shall be of a u-cup design made of nitrate packing. <br />The cylinder shall have a Melonized/Q.P..Running surface. <br />The Melonized surfaces shall have a predominance of single --phase <br />epsilon nitride. The nitride shall cover the entire cylinder surface. <br />This shall give the cylinder superior wear and corrosion resistance <br />and also shall have superior wear and fatigue properties. <br />The cylinder rod shall be c 1045/cI050 steel with a tensile strength <br />17 <br />SHALL BE <br />AS <br />SPECIFIED <br />(Circle One) <br />8NO <br />&NO <br />
