Nawrot, PE & PLS, Assistant City Engineer I. Summary of Revisions 1. Three houses have been removed from the bid. a. A-06 —1523 Elwood Avenue b. C-07 — 1614 Kendall Street c. C-10 — 225 E Calvert Street 2. The completion date for all Divisions has been changed to March 30, 2018 for all work excepting seeding. Contractors will have until April 27, 2018 to complete seeding work for all Divisions. 3. Certificate of Appropriateness has been obtained from the Historical Preservation Commission for 805 Leland Avenue (A-12). The following information is to be changed/added to the contract documents: H. Special Provisions 1. REPLACE, Section XII.B.6 6. Contractor may commence demolition work at more than one demolition site, provided that Contractor performs Work continuously on each site. Clearing and grubbing of sites may begin in advance of demolition, if desired, provided organic and inorganic debris is promptly removed from the site or fenced as a hazard. Once demolition of a structure commences on a site, progress shall be continuous through removal of all debris. Inspections of the completed demolition sites and Department of Public Works approval is required before Contractor proceeds to the next property or properties to be demolished. There will be no relief of this schedule if the same Contractor is awarded contracts for more than one Division of this project, or other separate contracts for work under the City's Vacant and Abandoned Housing Initiative. Multiple contracts to the same Contractor must be performed simultaneously, not consecutively.
