Nawrot, PE & PLS, Assistant City Engineer <br />I. Summary of Revisions <br />1. Three houses have been removed from the bid. <br />a. A-06 —1523 Elwood Avenue <br />b. C-07 — 1614 Kendall Street <br />c. C-10 — 225 E Calvert Street <br />2. The completion date for all Divisions has been changed to March 30, 2018 for all work <br />excepting seeding. Contractors will have until April 27, 2018 to complete seeding work <br />for all Divisions. <br />3. Certificate of Appropriateness has been obtained from the Historical Preservation <br />Commission for 805 Leland Avenue (A-12). <br />The following information is to be changed/added to the contract documents: <br />H. Special Provisions <br />1. REPLACE, Section XII.B.6 <br />6. Contractor may commence demolition work at more than one demolition site, <br />provided that Contractor performs Work continuously on each site. Clearing and <br />grubbing of sites may begin in advance of demolition, if desired, provided organic <br />and inorganic debris is promptly removed from the site or fenced as a hazard. Once <br />demolition of a structure commences on a site, progress shall be continuous through <br />removal of all debris. Inspections of the completed demolition sites and Department <br />of Public Works approval is required before Contractor proceeds to the next property <br />or properties to be demolished. There will be no relief of this schedule if the same <br />Contractor is awarded contracts for more than one Division of this project, or other <br />separate contracts for work under the City's Vacant and Abandoned Housing <br />Initiative. Multiple contracts to the same Contractor must be performed <br />simultaneously, not consecutively. <br />
