Schmidt and 7 others for the improvement of the alley betwe St. Joseph Street and Foster Street from St. Vincent Street to the lst East-West alley South of Napoleon Street by constructing a Class "C" pavement, types 1 to 4, I would recommend that the Petition be granted. R. S. Andrysiak IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2847 ORDER TO ENGINEER FOR PRELIMINARY PLANS According to the recommendation of the City Civil Engineer concerning the petition of Frank G. Schmidt and 7 others for the improvement of the alley between St. Joseph Street and Foster Street from St. Vincent Street to the lst East-West alley South of Napoleon Street you are hereby directed to prepare Plans, Draw- ings, Profiles, General Details, Specifications, Estimates and the Preliminary Improvement Resolution for improving such part of said streets by constructing a Class "C" pavement, Types i to 4. Smith IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2843, 1956 REFERRING BIDS TO ENGINEER The bids for the improvement of Oakcrest Drive and Sylvan Glen from 35th Street and Oakcrest Driv to Sylvan Glen and McKinley Avenue by constructing a local combined sewer received on September 24, 1956, in accordance with Improvement Resolution No. 28439 1956, passed by this Board on August 6, 1956, and con- firmed by this Board on September 10, 1956, are hereby referred to you for examination and tabulation and to report to this Board with recommendations. Smith IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2836, 1956 RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL After hearing all persons interested who appeared before the Board and the Clerk of the Board of 1 Public Works and Safety having shown proofs of publication of the notices to the property owners and the same having been found sufficient, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Primary or Preliminary Assessment Roll adopted by the Board on the loth day of September, 1956, for the im- provement of Sibley Avenue from the West line of College Street to the East line of Brookfield Street be an. the same is in all things confirmed.
