<br />questing permission to conduct an Indiana Toll Road Dedication Parade on the 17th day of September, 1956.
<br />Permission granted subject to said Mielstrup submitting to the Board a proposed plan of the route of the
<br />parade on or before September 3, 1956.
<br />With reference to the petition of the Northwest Property Owners Association, 1709 Kessler Blvd., South
<br />Bend, Indiana which had been previously filed with the Board in 1955, the Board now advised said petitioner.
<br />that the request of the installation of street light in daid vicinity had been taken care prior to this dat;
<br />in 1956 and the matter before the Board this morning is soled the request for sidewalks. After discussion:
<br />of the Board members, they now authorize said Representative of the Association to contact all property
<br />i owners to check on the condemnation of a willow tree which is now in the place of the proposed sidewalk area.

<br />RESOLUTION NO. 28349 1956
<br />For the improvement of Meade Street from Elwood Avenue to Bulla Street under Improvement Resolution
<br />No. 2834, 1956, adopted July 2, 1956 by constructing a local Combined Sewer.
<br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised on the premises and the
<br />Clerk of the Board having shown proofs of publication of the notices to property owners and the same having
<br />been found sufficient, the Board decides that the benefits to the property liable to to be assessed for sai
<br />improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, therefore
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that Im-
<br />provement Resolution No. 28349 1956, for the above improvement, be and the same is hereby in all things co.
<br />firmed.
<br />First Confirmation August 20, 1956 and the improvement is hereby ordered to be made.
