"F1 • 0 • is • • MAY 22, 1956 A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Tuesday, May 22, 1956 at 9:30 A.M. All members were present. Matters with reference to Vacation Resolution No. 2835, Vacation Resolution No. 2837, and Im- provement Resolution No. 2836 were discussed. VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2835, 1956 RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: That it is desirable to vacate the following: THE SOUTH 4.6' OF LOT 29 COLLEGE GROVE ADDITION and the NORTH 4.6' OF LOT 32 COLLEGE GROVE ADDITION. THIS ALLEY (9.2) RUNS FROM BROOKFIELD STREET, WEST TO VACATED JOHNSON STREET. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected bysuch vacation: Lots numbered 29 and 32 - COLLEGE GROVE ADDITION Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 25th day of May and on the 1st day of June, 1956 in the South Bend Tribune and The Record. This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 4th day of June, 1956 at 10:00 A.M. (DST) will; hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings. Smith BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2837, 1956 RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: That it is desirable to vacate the following: THE FIRST NORTH AND SOUTH ALLEY WEST OF MEADE STREET, FROM BONDS AVENUE, SOUTH TO THE NORTH LINE OF THE EAST AND WEST ALLEY SOUTH OF BONDS AVENUE. Cole & Son, Civil Engineers, hereby report and file the Drawings, Plans, Estimates and the Preliminary.Improvement Resolution for the improvement of Sibley Avenue from the West property line of College Street to the East property line of Brookfield Street by constructing a Class "C" pave- ment (Types 1 to 4). IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2836 BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that; it is deemed necessary to improve Sibley Avenue from the West property line of College Street to the East!' property line of Brookfield Street by draining, grading, and paving with a Class "C" pavement (Types 1 to 4).
