478 <br />There is on file in the Office of the City Controller of the City of South Bend, Indiana, an asses's- <br />ment roll with the names of the owners and description of property subject to be assessed with the amount I <br />of the prima facia assessment, and can be seen in the Office of said City Controller. <br />The Board of Public Works and Safety of said City, at the Office of the Board in said City, will <br />on the 28th day of May, 1956, at 10:00 A.M. (DST) receive and hear remonstrances against the amounts assess <br />- <br />ed against their property respectively, on said roll and will determine the question as to whether such <br />lots, or tracts of land, have been or will be benefited by said Improvement to the amounts named on said i( <br />roll, or is greater or less than that named on said roll or in any sum. E. Anderson Company, <br />1131 Sunnymede Avenue, South Bend, Indiana for the construction of the improvement knows as the 29th St. <br />paving and curbs improvement according to Improvement Resolution No. 2831, 1956, is the lowest and best <br />bid, and that the contract to do said work be awarded to the A. E. Anderson company, 1131 Sunnymed"e Avenue <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2831, 1956 <br />FINAL ORDER <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works, did on the 2nd day of May, 1956 adopt a Preliminary Order des <br />ignating a Class "C" Type 1 (6" concrete) pavement and Portland Cement roll type curbs for the improve- <br />ment of 29th Street from the North property line of Northside Blvd. to the South property line of Pleasant <br />Street by constructing a Class "C" pavement and Portland Cement concrete curbs in accordance with Improve- <br />ment Resolution No. 2831, 1956, passed by this Board on March 12, 1956, and confirmed by this Board on <br />April 16, 1956, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the Preliminary Order is hereby, in all things confirmed as adopted and said <br />street be paved with Class "C", type 1 (6" concrete) pavement and that roll -type concrete curbs be con- <br />structed. <br />(DST). <br />Attest: <br />R.
