478 There is on file in the Office of the City Controller of the City of South Bend, Indiana, an asses's- ment roll with the names of the owners and description of property subject to be assessed with the amount I of the prima facia assessment, and can be seen in the Office of said City Controller. The Board of Public Works and Safety of said City, at the Office of the Board in said City, will on the 28th day of May, 1956, at 10:00 A.M. (DST) receive and hear remonstrances against the amounts assess - ed against their property respectively, on said roll and will determine the question as to whether such lots, or tracts of land, have been or will be benefited by said Improvement to the amounts named on said i( roll, or is greater or less than that named on said roll or in any sum. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2831, 1956 IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT After due investigation of all bids and being duly advised on the premises, the Board of Public Works & Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, decides that the bid of the A. E. Anderson Company, 1131 Sunnymede Avenue, South Bend, Indiana for the construction of the improvement knows as the 29th St. paving and curbs improvement according to Improvement Resolution No. 2831, 1956, is the lowest and best bid, and that the contract to do said work be awarded to the A. E. Anderson company, 1131 Sunnymed"e Avenue South Bend, Indiana. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2831, 1956 FINAL ORDER WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works, did on the 2nd day of May, 1956 adopt a Preliminary Order des ignating a Class "C" Type 1 (6" concrete) pavement and Portland Cement roll type curbs for the improve- ment of 29th Street from the North property line of Northside Blvd. to the South property line of Pleasant Street by constructing a Class "C" pavement and Portland Cement concrete curbs in accordance with Improve- ment Resolution No. 2831, 1956, passed by this Board on March 12, 1956, and confirmed by this Board on April 16, 1956, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Preliminary Order is hereby, in all things confirmed as adopted and said street be paved with Class "C", type 1 (6" concrete) pavement and that roll -type concrete curbs be con- structed.
