Referrred to the City Engineer. <br />The monthly report of the Building Department was accepted and approved, for the <br />month of April, 1956. <br />The City Hall will be closed on Election Day, Mlay,8, Tuesday. <br />Contractorts bonds were approved for the following: H & L Construction Company, <br />Swanson Construction Company, J. C. Gillstrap Construction Company, H. F. Glaser Construe- <br />.tion Company, Nelda R. Keller d/b/a Ralph Keller. <br />A certificate of insurance for Edward J. White, Inc. 1011 S. Michigan Street, was <br />accepted.and placed on file. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO.2832 <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the resolution heretofore adopted by <br />the Board of Public Works & Safety for the vacation THE ALLEY WEST OF OLIVE STREET FROM <br />LINCOLNWAY WEST, SOUTH TO THE NORTH LINE OF THE ALLEY SOUTH OF LINCOLNWAY WEST, under <br />Vacation Resolution No. 2832. <br />The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no remon <br />onstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk, <br />it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said Resolution be finally�dopted <br />and the said alley be vacated. <br />The Engineering Department is directed to prepare an assessment roll covering the <br />assessment of benefits and the award of damages to the surrounding properties. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION No. 2833 <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the resolution heretofore adopted by <br />the Board of Public Works & Safety for the vacation THE ALLEY RUNNING PARALLEL WITH LIN- <br />COLNWAY EAST FROM T= SOUTH LINE OF THE ALLEY SOUTH OF SAMPLE STREET, THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY <br />TO THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT H OF WENGER AND KREIGHBAU�,.Jt S VISTULA AVENUE ADDITION WHERE SAID <br />ALLEY ABUTS THE GRAND TRUNK WESTERN RIGHT OF WAY, subject to an easement to Indiana & <br />Michigan Electric Company for the use, maintenance and replacement of poles and wires ford <br />electric transmission purposes, under Vacation Resolution No. 2833• <br />The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no remon- <br />strators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerl� <br />it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said Resolution be finally adopted <br />and the said alley be vacated. <br />The Engineering Department is directed to prepare an assessment roll covering the <br />.assessment of benefits and the award of damages to the surrounding properties. <br />The Broadway EUB Church through its pastor Rev.
