FEBRUARY 6, 1956 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works & Safety was held on Monday, Feb- ruary 6, 1956 at 10:00 A.M. (CST). All members were present. Petition referred to the City Engineer. Notice pertaining to the dedication of Lots No. 405 and 450 to be known as Crosby Avenue from the School City of South Bend to the City of South Bend was sent to School School Att: of Mr. Galen B. Sargent. The Board has authorized Charles W. Cole & Son to do the engineering work on all Barrett Law Work for the year of 1956 for the City of South Bend. Board approved. The 22nd day of February according to the General Assembly of Indiana is consider-4 ed a legal holiday and therefore the City Hall and its componets shall be closed on the 'i . 22nd day of February, 1956. The Special Police Bond received from the Bendix Products Corporation (Schedule Bond No. P-30496) by the Fidelity and Casualty Co. of New York was approved by the Board. A letter was received from School City of South Bend by Galen B. Sargent, Ass1t. Superintendent in charge of Business wherein they waive any and all rights to remonstrate against the final estimate of the cost of paving on the Eisenhower Avenue Pavement Im- provement Project. Letter filed and accepted. A letter was received from Portage Realty Company by Earl Kime, Ass1t. Secretary, wherin they waive any and all rights to remonstrate against the final estimate of the cost of paving on the Eisenhower Avenue Paving Improvement Project. Letter accepted and s filed. A letter was received from School City of South Bend by Galen B. Sargent, Assit. Superintendent in charge of Business wherein they waive any and all rights to remon- strate against the final estimate of the cost of paving on the Crosby Avenue Pavement Improvement. Accopted and approved by the Board. • 3i A copy of the Final Estimate of the Cost of the Improvement of Eisenhower Avenue was submitted to the Board. Accepted and approved by the Board. Sheehan, Manager of the Green Arrow Parking, Inc.d , requesting permission to change the rate on Lot #41 from 25� each hour or less to 351, first hour and 10¢ for each additional hour.
