<br />SUPPLEMENT TO IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2814 - 1955
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
<br />of South Bend, Indiana that Improvement Resolution No. 2814 - 1955, be and is hereby
<br />modified as follows:
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana, that the construction of a local sewer, intended and adapted only for local
<br />use by the property holders whose property abuts thereon, and not intended or adapted
<br />;for receiving sewage from callateral drains, be and the same is hereby ordered in and
<br />.along all streets of Bercliff Estate Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana,
<br />excepting those streets serving Lot Numbered 1 and 48 through 79, of sizes 811, loll, 1211
<br />and 15" in diameter. Said sewer, with all its appurtenances, shall be constructed in
<br />accordance with the Profiles, Drawings, Plans, Genera. Details and Specifications of
<br />such improvement approved August 22, 1955 and modified November 7, 1955, and to be
<br />adopted by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
<br />immediately upon the final adoption and confirmation of this Resolution, and placed
<br />,on file in the Office of the Board of Public Works and Safety of said City.
<br />BOARD APPROVES FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2814
<br />The Profiles, Drawings, Plans, General Details, Specifications and Estimates for the
<br />;:improvement of all properties of Bercliff Estate Addition excepting Lots No. 1 and No.
<br />48 through No. 79 by constructing a local combined sanitary and storm sewer are hereby
<br />approved.
<br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION CONFIRMED
<br />For the improvement of all properties of Bercliff Estates Addition excepting lots
<br />-No. 1 and No. 48, through No. 79, under Improvement Resolution No. 2814, 1955, adopted
<br />August 22, 1955, and modified November 7, 1955, by constructing a local combined sani-
<br />''tary sewer.
<br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised on the
<br />.premises and the Clerk of the Board having shown proofs of publication of the notices
<br />to property owners and the same having been found sufficient, the Board decides that
<br />:'the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to
<br />;the estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, therefore
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana,.that Improvement Resolution No. 2814, 1955, duly passed by this Board on
<br />:August 22, 1955, for the above improvement, be and the same is hereby iri all things
<br />confirmed as modified.
<br />First -Confirmation of modified Improvement Resolution No. 2814, 1955, passed by this
<br />Board on November 7, 1955, and the improvement is hereby ordered to be made.

<br />FINAL CONFIRMATION OF IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2814-1955
<br />For the improvement of all properties of Bercliff Estates Addition excepting Lots
<br />No. 1, and No. 48 through 79, by constructing a local combined sanitary and storm sewer,
<br />under Improvement Resolution No. 2814, 1955, adopted August 22, 1955, and first confirmed;
<br />on November 7, 1955.
<br />No written remonstrance or remonstrances against said improvement bearing the sig-
<br />natures of fifty-one percent or mdre of the resident property owners on said street to
<br />be improved, having been filed within the ten day period following the date and time
<br />of the hearing on said improvement, therefore
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana,.that Improvement Resolution No. 28 4, 1955, duly adopted by this Board on
<br />August 22, 1955, and first confirmed on November 7, 1955, be and the same is in all
<br />things finally confirmed and the improvement is hereby ordered made.
