<br />For the improvement of ALLEY BETWEEN MICHIGAN STREET AND MAIN STREET under •
<br />Improvement Resolution No. 2797, 1954, adopted -September 7th, 1954, from Madison Street
<br />to 'Marion-, Street by constructing a Class OCO, Type 1, Cement Concrete Pavement.
<br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised on the
<br />premises and the Clerk of the Board having shown proofs of publication of the notice to
<br />property owners and the same having been found sufficient, the Board decides that the
<br />benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the
<br />estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, therefore
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of 'South
<br />Bend, Indiana, that.Improvement Resolution No. 2797., 1955, duly passed by this Board
<br />on September 7, 1954, for the above improvement, be and the same is hereby in all .
<br />things confirmed and the improvement is hereby ordered to be made.

<br />approved by this Board on the 7th day of September, 1954, for the improvement of ALLEY
<br />BETWEEN MICHIGAN STREET AND MAIN STREET, from Madison Street to "tiarion Street, by con-
<br />,structing.a.Class C, Type 1, Cement Concrete Pavement be and the same are hereby adopted
<br />and ordered placed on.file in the office of the Department of Public Works and Safety.
<br />October 10, 1955, at the hour of 10;00 A. M. C.S.T is hereby fixed as the time
<br />and the office of the Board of Public Works and Safety in the City Hall of this City,
<br />as the place, when and where the Board of Public Works and Safety will open and con-
<br />sider bids for the above named improvements, provided all bids for the consdruction
<br />of said work shall be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Board before 10:00 o'clockT
<br />A. M. C.S.T. of said day. Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid a certi- '
<br />`fied check, payable to the Treasurer of this City, in the sum of two and one-half (21)
<br />per cent of the amount of his bid, or a bid bond for two - and one-half percent of the
<br />;amount of his bid, to insure the execution of this contract, if said work is awarded to
<br />him.
