<br />July 25, 1955, at the hour of 10:00 A. M. C.S.T. is hereby fixed as the time and th!
<br />office of the Board of Public Works and Safety in the City Hall, as the place, when and
<br />where the Board of Public Works and Safety will open and consider bids for the above
<br />names improvements, provided all bids for the construction of said work shall be filed
<br />in the office of the Clerk of this Board before 10:00 otclock a.m. C.S.T. of said day.
<br />Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid a certified check, payable to the
<br />Treasurer of this City, in the sum of two and one-half (21) per cent of the amount of
<br />his bid, to insure the execution of this contract, if said work is awarded to him.
<br />The Clerk of this Board is hereby ordered to give notice by two weekly publications.!

<br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION CONFIRMED
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2811 - 1955
<br />For the improvement of THIRTY-SIXTH STREET under Improvement Resolution No. 2811
<br />adopted June 20, 1955, from Jefferson Boulevard to 614 feet North by constructing a local,
<br />sewer.
<br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised on the
<br />premises and the Clerk of the Board having shown proofs of publication of the notices
<br />to property owners and the same having been found sufficient, the Board decides that
<br />the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to
<br />the estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, therefore
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South
<br />Bend, Indiana that Improvement Resolution No. 2811, 1955, duly passed by this Board on
<br />June 20, 1955, for the above improvement be and the same is hereby in all things con-
<br />firmed and the improvement is hereby ordered to be made.

<br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana, that the Profiles, Drawings, Plans., General Details, Specifications and
<br />Estimates approved by this Board on the 20th day of June, 1955, for the improvement
<br />of THIRTY-SIXTH STREET, from Jefferson Boulevard to 614 feet North, by constructing a
<br />local sewer, be and the same are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file in the office
<br />of the Department of Public Works and Safety.
