• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />Decision was reached in the matter of awnings and the clerk was directeH to proceed - <br />with the purchase. <br />The Board next examined the application of Donald A. Heilman for taxicab driverts <br />license, at which time both Mr. Heilman and Andrew Ligos appeared before the Board <br />and declared their intention of forming a cab company, in partnership. The Board <br />advised Mr. Ligos to file application for taxicab driverts license immediately with the!" <br />City Controller, and set the date for hearing in this matter at 10:00 A. M. C.S.T., <br />iMonday, April 11, 1955• The Clerk was directed to publish the required notice of hear- <br />ing and mail special notice to those particularly concerned. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER-: <br />-The Board next considered the report of the Traffic Engineer in regard to the <br />routing of gravel trucks from the Taylor Brothers Gravel Pit to the site of the Toll <br />Road construction, and thereupon established the route, as follows: <br />Douglas Road to Maple Road, south on Maple Road to Lincoln Way <br />West (U.S.20), U. S. 20 to Michigan Street (U.S.31) thence North. <br />The Clerk was directed to so inform the Orcale Midwest Corporation. <br />The Board then approved the installation of the following S-T-O-P signs: <br />Stop Sign installed on Lafayette Boulevard, northeast corner <br />at North Shore Drive <br />Stop Sign installed on Marine Street, both sides at Indiana Avenue <br />Stop Sign installed on Kenwood Street, both sides, at Huey Street <br />making this a four-way stop. <br />The Board next approved Excavation Bond,in the sum of $10,000.00, for Colpaert <br />Realty Corporation. <br />Contractorts Bonds, each in the sum of $1,000.00, were examined and approved <br />for the following contractors: <br />the meeting was adjourned;: <br />Axel E. Anderson <br />Dan C. Harmon <br />Wm. J. Kline <br />Andrew E. Molnar. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, <br />at 11:4.5 A. M. <br />
