VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2806- 1955 <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the <br />award of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of THE ALLEY <br />NORTH OF SAMPLE STREET FROM CARROLL STREET ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE AND EIGHT TENTH(135.8)' <br />FEET, EAST TO FOURTEEN FEET WEST OF LOT NUMBER SIX ANDERSONtS SUBDIVISION, UNDER Vacation' <br />Resolution No. 2806. <br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written re- <br />monstrances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of notices'; <br />and same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore finds that the several lots and <br />parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. The <br />Board, therefore decided to take final action on said assessment roll and declares same <br />in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings <br />closed, and the alley vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefit assessments from the !' <br />various property owners so benefited and all proceedings had with reference to said <br />alley vacation are hereby sustained. <br />The Board then proceeded, in accord with legal advertising, to open bids received <br />for the supplying of asphalt, gravel and ready -mixed concrete, which were found to be <br />as follows: <br />ALLBY ASPHALT AND REFINING CORPORATION <br />P. 0.
