P-- <br />250 <br />The Board then read the request of the Grand Trunk Western Railroad Company, dated <br />19-19-54, for permission to block the Sunnyside Street crossing on November 27th, due <br />to the necessity of maintaining steam connections to heat the cars comprising the special <br />,:football trains. The Board referred the matter to Traffic Engineer, E. H. Miller, for <br />!his recommendation and handling. <br />The Board approved the installation of a S-T-0-P sign on the southwest corner of <br />Kenwood Street at Johnson Street. <br />An Excavation Bond, in the sum of 10,000.00, binding Robert'M. Checkley as principal <br />and Capitol Indemnity Insurance Company as sureties, was examined and approved by the <br />Board. <br />Contractor Bonds, each in the sum of $1,000.00, were examined and approved for <br />i the following contractors: <br />Rufus Barkus <br />Verlin V. Engle <br />Henry J. Fisette <br />Eugene A. Harris <br />David Moss <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned <br />.at 11:15 A.
