<br />The Board then read the request of the Grand Trunk Western Railroad Company, dated
<br />19-19-54, for permission to block the Sunnyside Street crossing on November 27th, due
<br />:,to the necessity of maintaining steam connections to heat the cars comprising the special;;
<br />;;football trains. The Board referred the matter to Traffic Engineer, E. H. Miller, for
<br />;his recommendation and handling.
<br />The Board approved the installation of a S-T-0-P sign on the southwest corner of
<br />'Kenwood Street at Johnson Street.
<br />An Excavation Bond, in the sum of $10,000.00, binding Robert'M. Checkley as principal;,
<br />'Wand Capitol Indemnity Insurance Company as sureties, was examined and approved by the
<br />Board.
<br />Contractor Bonds, each in the sum of $1,000.00, were examined and approved for
<br />the following contractors:
