<br />Attorney J. Chester Allen was then heard by the Board in the matter pertaining to
<br />on -the -spot arrests made Saturday night, September 18, 1954, in the vicinity of F�44F
<br />Eddy Street and Colfax Avenue, involving certain juveniles, and read to the Board and
<br />persons assembled, the individual reports written by three of the young men placed under
<br />arrest. The Board assured Attorney Allen, an investigation of the matter would be made
<br />Nand the reports of the arresting officers would be in the hands of the Board at the next 11
<br />regular meeting.
<br />The Board next considered the matter of the immediate commencing of operations to
<br />install the sewer river crossing, involving the premises of the V.F.W. club house on
<br />Lincolnway East. No reply having been received to the offer submitted V.F.W. Post 1167,
<br />the Clerk was directed to notify this organization of the fact that construction is to
<br />'proceed without further delay.
