111 <br />D E D I C A T I 0 N <br />WHEREAS, a plat with dedication of streets and utility easements indicated thereon <br />is now presented to the Board, by Wilbur H. Gartner and Associates, Professional <br />Engineers, and bearing the approval of the City Plan Commission, to be known as EDISON <br />PARK THIRD ADDITION, an addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />This plat and dedication.is_filed in the records of the Board of Public Works and <br />Safety and recorded in. Book 4,,,,' Page #,E", in the Recorder's Office of St. Joseph <br />County. TrI <br />I� NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City <br />!� of South Bend, Indiana, that all public streets and utility easements dedicated to <br />the public use in said plat are hereby accepted and approved by said Board for and on <br />behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Petition of Ben C. Kochanowski and eleven others for the improvement of North Elmer <br />Street, from the center line of Elwood Avenue to the center line of Keller Street, <br />was examined by the Board and referred to the City Engineer for recommendation. <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, City Civil Engineer, being present,3made the recommendation <br />that the petition be granted, and the Board then directed that.the firm of Wilbur H. <br />ji Gartner & Associates prepare general details, drawings, specifications and preliminary <br />improvement resolution for improving such part of said street by constructing a local <br />i sewer and the firm was notified accordingly. <br />1; <br />A petition, submitted by North Elmer Street residents this date, for the improvement <br />;i of Elmer Street from Keller Street to Hamilton Street by the construction of sidewalks <br />and curbs, was examined and referred to the City Engineer for investigation and report. <br />Excavatorts Bond in the sum of $1,000.00, binding Hamilton Plumbing & Heating <br />Company, Inc., as principal, and Michigan Surety Company of Lansing, Michigan as suretie <br />was examined and approved by the Board. <br />The urgent necessity for replacement of the paint machine and air compressor for <br />the Traffic Engineer's Department was next considered, and the Clerk was directed to <br />proceed immediately to supply the required replacement. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned <br />at 11:50 A.
