Tomlinson(Petty Cash) <br />23.00 <br />VACATION <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2768 - 1954 <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution heretofore adopted by <br />the Board of Public Works & Safety for the vacation of THE FIRST ALLEY NORTH OF NORTH <br />SIDE BOULEVARD FROM ROBERTS STREET EAST TO THE WEST LINE OF THE SEVEN FOOT HALF ALLEY <br />EAST OF ROBERTS STREET, under vacation Resolution No. 2868. <br />The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no remon- <br />strators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk, <br />it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said resolution be finally <br />adopted and the said portion of the alley be vacated. The Engineering Department is <br />directed to prepare an assessment roll covering the assessment of benefits and the award <br />of damages to the surrounding properties. <br />R. S. Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the award of <br />damages and the assessments of benefits in the matter of the vacation of THE FIRST ALLEY <br />NORTH OF NORTH SIDE BOULEVARD FROM ROBERTS STREET EAST TO THE WEST LINE OF THE SEVEN <br />FOOT HALF ALLEY EAST OF ROBERTS STREET, under Vacation Resolution No. 2768. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meet in <br />the City Hall at 10:00 A. M. CST on the 15th day of March, 1954 for the purpose of <br />hearing and receiving remonstrancesfrom all persons interested in or affected by said <br />vacation, and the Board further orders that notice of said hearing, together with the <br />amount of damages awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by <br />publishing same on the 19th day of February, on the 26th day of February and on the 5th <br />day of March 1954, in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION 2769 - 1954 <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution heretofore adopted by <br />the Board of Public Works & Safety for the vacation of THE FIRST ALLEY NORTH OF RUPEL <br />STREET FROM BROOKFIELD STREET WEST TO THE EAST LINE OF THE ALLEY WEST OF BROOKFIELD <br />STREET, under Vacation Resolution No. 2769. <br />The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no remon- 11 <br />strances having been filed with the Clerk, it was moved, seconded and unanimously { <br />carried that the said resolution be finally adopted and the said portion of the alley <br />be vacated. H. M.
