i� November 30, 1953 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Monday, November 30, 19531 at 10:00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read j and approved. Gartner & Assoc. 420.25 I' SANITATION DEPARTMENT: Taylor Construction Co. 355.00 Armco Drainage & Metal Products 1590.15 ; • I The Board first examined and approved street improvement plans, Lincoln Plaza, A Second Addition, for the following streets: Ryer Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street Iowa Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street Elwood Avenue from Kenmore Street to end of project I� Keller Street from Kenmore Street to end of project The Board next examined and approved sewer construction plans, Lincoln Plaza, Ij Second Addition, for the following locations: 1 Ryer Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street • �I Iowa Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street , Elwood Avenue from Ryer Street to Iowa Street South j Iowa Street from Elwood Avenue to Lineolnway West Maintenance Bond, in the sum of $3,000.00, of Hartman Builders, Inc. pertaining to permit granted this firm, under date of November 13, 1953, for construction of ; (sidewalks, curbs and streets in the 1600 block North Kenmore Street, between Bulla ;and Kellers Streets was examined and ap proved by the Board. ! Maintenance Bond, in the sum of $2,000.00, of Hartman Builders, Inc., pertaining to permit granted this firm, under date of November 13, 1953, to construct sidewalks, I' (curbs, and streets in the 1400 and 1500 blocks, North Kenmore Street, between Elwood • j;Avenue and Bulla Street, was examined and approved by the Board. • Maintenance Bond, in the sum of $1250.00, of Hartman Builders, Inc., pertaining to ;permit granted this firm, under date of November 13, 1953, to construction sidewalks, curbs and streets in the 3500 block of Elwood Avenue, between Kenmore and Wellington Streets, was examined and approved by the Board. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2759 - 1953 Contractor's Completion Affidavit was furnished by Virgil H. Reed in the matter lof Pavement Improvement on LAWTON Street made under Improvement Resolution No. 2759, ;and this was approved by the Board. RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL RESOLUTION NO. 2759 - 1953 After hearing all persons interested who appeared and the Clerk of the Board of is Works and Safety having proofs of publication of the notices to property owners the same having been found sufficient, therefore BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Primary or Preliminary Assessment Roll adopted by the Board on the 16th day of November 1953, for the improvement of LAWTON STREET by constructing a Class "C" Type 1 Cement Concrete Pavement be and the same is in all things confirmed. others r R.
