50 RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL RE SOLUTION NO. 2753 - 1953 After hearing all persons interested who appeared and the Clerk of the Board of Public Works and Safety having proofs of publication of the notices to property owners aid 1; the same having been found sufficient, therefore i BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, 1;Indiana, that the Primary or Preliminary Assessment Roll adopted by the Board on the �+ j 20th day of July 1953, for the improvement of NORTH ILLINOIS STREET by constructing a iI ;Class C, type 1 Cement Concrete pavement be and the same is in all things confirmed. Ziegler Board of Public Works & SafeTy FINAL CONFIRI:ATION OF Ilr.PROVEPE';NT RESOLUTION RESOLUTION NO. 2758 & NO. 2759 Confirmation of Resolution No. 2758 for the improvement of TUXEDO DRIVE from the north line of Washington Avenue to the south line of McKinley Avenue by constructing a Class "C", Pavement under Improvement Resolution No. 2758, adopted June 29, 1953 and first confirmed on July 27, 1953 AND Confirmation of Resolution No. 2759 for the improvement of LAWTON STREET from the west line of Olive Street to the east line of Washington Street by constructing a Class "C" Pavement under Improvement Resolution No. 2759, adopted June 29, 1953 and first confirmed on July 27, 1953• No written remonstrance or remonstrances against said improvement bearing the signatures of fifty-one percent or more of the resident property owners on said street to be improved, having been filed within the ten day period following the date and time of the hearing on said improvements, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that Improvement Resolution No. 2758 and Improvement Resolution No. 2759, duly adopted by this Board on June 29, 1953, and first confirmed on July 27, 1953, be and the same are in all things finally confirmed and the improvements are hereby ordered made. 4_ R. Crothers Clerk of the Board PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ADOPTED BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Profiles, Drawing, Plans, General Details, Specifications and Estimate approved by this Board on the 29th day of June 1953, for the improvement of TUXEDO DRIVE from the north line of 1,1lashington Avenue to the south line of McKinley Avenue by constru ting a Class C Pavement AND LAWTON STREET from the west line of Olive Street to the east line of Washington Street by constructing a Class C Pavement be and the same are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file in the office of the Department of Public Works and Safety. August 17, 1953, at the hour of 10:00 otclock A.M. Central Standard Time is hereby fixed as the time and the office of the Board of Public Works and Safety in the City Hal of this City, as the place, when and where the Board of Public Works and Safety will ape: and consider bids for the above named improvements, provided all bids for the constructi of said work shall be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Board before 10:00 A. M. Central Standard time of said day. Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid a certified check, payable to the Treasurer of this City, in the sul,1 of two and one- half (22) percent of the amount of his bid, or a bid bond toyinsure the execution of this contract, if said work is awarded to him. The Clerk of this Board is hereby ordered to give notice by two weekly publications of the time and place, when and where bids will be received, opened and considered for the construction of said work.
