This optional task would be performed for additional services should it be required. <br />9. Disinfection Evaluation to Achieve Maximum Peak Flow (optional) <br />a. Meet with the Client to review disinfection technologies and develop alternatives for <br />expanding the disinfection capacity to the maximum peak flow identified in above tasks. <br />During the meeting, select up to three most promising alternativcs for evaluation. <br />b. Develop planning -level capital and life cycle costs, schematics, and advantages and <br />disadvantages for up to three alternatives. Perform sufficient evaluation to determine that <br />each alternative can fit within the existing hydraulic conditions. <br />C. Meet with the Client to review and discuss the results of the evaluation and identify the <br />recommended disinfection project for the maximum peak flow capacity. <br />d. Prepare a brief memorandum summarizing the above tasks. Submit two hard copies and one <br />electronic copy (pdf, searchable format) to the Client for review and comment. Revise <br />memorandum to incorporate Client's input and suggestions. Submit two copies of the final <br />report and one electronic copy (pdf, searchable format) to the Client. <br />e. This optional task would be performed for additional services should it be required. <br />10. Wet Weather SOPS (optional) <br />a. Develop Standard Operation Procedures (SOPS) for wet weather operations at the plant <br />based on the maximum peak flow. This will match the format of the Client's current SOPS, <br />and will describe the changes that need to occur during the plant to reliably treat wet <br />weather flows and highlight the key aspects that should be monitored by the operations <br />staff. <br />b. Meet with the Client to review the SOPS. Revise SOPS to incorporate Client's input. <br />c.
