Project #17048-00 <br />froyer <br />ADDENDUM NO. #1 <br />Subject: Wayne Street Plaza and Streetscape (116-047R) — City of South Bend, IN. <br />Date: November 09, 2017 <br />To: All holders of the contract document for the above project. <br />From: Jonathon Geels, PLA, ASLA <br />This Addendum forms a part of the contract documents. This Addendum is issued to clarify, expand, <br />explain, supplement or supplant drawings and specifications. The items referred to in this Addendum are <br />to govern in the work unless otherwise altered, or revised by subsequent Addenda or bulletins. <br />The following changes and/or additions shall be made to the contract drawings and specifications on the <br />above named Project and shall be considered a part thereof. <br />This addendum contains 7 pages. It is the responsibility of the bidder to notify the landscape architect if <br />the bidder is not in receipt of all listed pages. <br />We believe these minutes reflect the intent of the events, discussions and decisions made during the <br />meeting. Please notify this office in writing within seven (7) days if participants find any errors, omissions, <br />or discrepancies. <br />This Addendum modifies the Contract Documents as follows: <br />PART 1 — CLARIFICATIONS <br />PART 2 - QUESTIONS <br />PART 3 — SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />PART 4 — CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />PART 1- CLARIFICATIONS <br />1.01 Attached is the sign --in sheet and meeting agenda from the Pre -bid meeting held on November 02, <br />2017. <br />1.02 There has been no MBE/WBE percentage goal requirement set for this project. <br />1.03 Contractor shall coordinate construction operations with the Best Weep Ever event scheduled in <br />Downtown South Bend on May 28, 2018 through June 03, 2018 to avoid conflicts between <br />construction activities and pedestrian and vehicular circulation. <br />1.04 Finish grade of pavers to match existing concrete grade. The depth of aggregate shown on sheet <br />C1-101 Site Pavement Plan and Details on the "Typical Paver Section" detail should be reflect the <br />amount of aggregate necessary to meet that finished grade. <br />PART 2 -- QUESTIONS <br />Question 1 The application of the waterproof membrane is a weather dependent process.
