S. Moore and carrying the City Plan Commissionts stamp_,of • <br />approval, dated November 6, 1952. The Board approved the annexing of this plat and <br />affixed their signatures thereto. This plat and dedication is filed in the records <br />of the Board of Public Works & Safety and recorded in Book #/cf, Page #Mjg, in the <br />Recordert s Office of St. Joseph County. i <br />Attorney Joseph A. Roper appeared before the Board presenting a petition and <br />blueprint illustrating the proposed vacation and relocation of Sorin Street, from <br />Preston Drive to the east line of McKinley Terrace Addition, and vacation of alley <br />north of Lotr35 and alley east of Lot 132. The Board examined the petition and blue- <br />print and referred the matter to the City Plan Commission. <br />Mrs. Barney Bartell, president and Mrs. Aubrey Underwood, secretary of the • <br />Mothers of Marines, appeared before the Board, asking that the date of June 13th be <br />set as "Rose Day" on which they may be permitted to sell their boutonnieres on the <br />downtown streets.
