91
City Engineer, Ray S. Andrysiak, being present, pointed out that the availability
of the Northwest Trunk Sewer to the Bendix Plant makes this the most logical and suitabl
sewage -way for the industrial sewage and storm water for this immense and expanding
industrial concern. It was brought out during the discussion that the Federal Housing
Authority is also concerned in the size and depth of sewer in this immediate area of
Ardmore Trail and Sheridan Street. Attorney Moo cited the Board to certain cases and
court decisions in similar situations. Engineer Andrysiak pointed out that a health
hazard would be involved if the development of this addition went forward resorting to
the use of septic tanks. Engineer Moore stated that final decision in the matter will
not be the opinion of any one person. The Board took the entire matter under further
advisement, and a meeting was arranged for the discussion of the problem between
Engineers Moore, Cole and Andrysiak at the office of the City Engineer at 1:30 P.
