Engineer or his duly authorized representative on this 24th day of <br />November 1952 on the improvement known as the CHALFANT STREET PAVEMENT as described in <br />Improvement Resolution No. 2724-1952, passed by the Board of Public Works and Safety <br />on July 7, 1952, and confirmed by said Board on August 11, 1952, be and the same is <br />hereby adopted, and the Clerk of this Board is hereby requested to give notice of the <br />hearing of,Special Benefits on said Improvement, as required by Section N. 111 or 120 <br />of an Act entitled, "An Act Concerning Municipal Corporations" approved March 6, 1905. <br />R. Grothers Boarl of Publle Works & Sa e y <br />ClerTE of Ehe Boar . <br />A Contract agreement with the Publix Advertising Company, 521 East 42nd St., ' <br />Indianapolis, for the lease of one hundred or more waste containers (not to exceed one - <br />hundred fifty) was next examined by the Board, and after the insert of an additional clan le <br />pertaining to lessee submitting advertising for approval, and the insert of minor clari- <br />fying verbiage, the Board approved the agreement. <br />Petitions, dated November 10, 1952, for the improvement of North Elmer Street from • <br />Keller Street to the north line of Lot 447, Marquette Heights Addition, in the form <br />of street paving, curb and sidewalk, to be constructed under the Barrett Law plan, were <br />text examined by the Board. These petitions, submitted by Better Homes of South Bend, <br />Inc. were referred by the Board to the City Engineer for investigation and report. <br />A statement of account, showing a balance of $500.00, submitted by the Independent <br />Concrete Pipe Corporation, P.O.
