�e ENGINEERtS CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION RESOLUTION NO. 2722 - 1952 Certificate of Completion was furnished by civil engineer, Wilbur H. Gartner, accompanied by contractor's completion affidavit of the contract between the City of South Bend, Indiana, Owner, and the Reed Construction Company, Contractor, for the construction of the pavement improvement on WASHINGTON AVENUE from the east line of Ironwood Drive to the east curb line of Tuxedo Drive, under Improvement Resolution No. 2722, 1952, has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications for this project. .RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FINAL ESTIMATE No. 2722 - 1952 BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works and Safety of'the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Final Estimate, Primary Assessment Roll submitted to the Board by the City Civil Engineer or his duly authorized representative on this 20th day of October, 1952 on the improvement known as the WASHINGTON AVENUE PAVER1ENT, as described in Improvement Resolution No. 2722 - 1952, passed by the Board of Public Works and Safety on July 7th, 1952, and confirmed by said Board on August 11, 1952, be and the same is hereby adopted, and the Clerk of this Board is hereby requested to give notice of the hearing of: -Special Benefits on said improvement, as required by Section N.111 or 120 of an Act entitled, "An Act concerning Municipal Corporations" approved March 6, 1905. Gartner, accompanied by Contractorts Completion Affidavit of the contract between the City of South Bend, Owner, and -the Reed Construction Company, Contractor, for the con- struction of the Re -surface Pavement improvement on MIAMI STREET from Indiana Avenue to Ewing Avenue under Improvement Contract No. 9, has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications for .this project. Maintenance Bonds of Reed Construction Company, in the sum of $3423.30 was examined and found to be satisfactory covering the construction of pavement on Dean Street from Fellows to St. Joseph Street, which street was paved by Whitcomb and Keller, Inc. AND Maintenance Bond in the sum of 4765.72 covering the construction of pavement on Whitcomb Street from Klinger Street to Jennings Street, which street was paved by Whitcomb & Keller, Ind. AND Maintenance Bond in the sum of $6835.83 covering the construction of pavement on St. Joseph Street from Klinger Street to Jennings Street, which street was paved by Whitcomb & Keller, Inc. AND Maintenance Bond in the sum of $13,476.70 covering the construction of pavement on Peashway Street from the East end of Harter Heights Addition to Notre Dame Avenue, which street was paved by University Enterprises, Inc_. The Board examined and approved the following contractors bonds, each io. the amount of $1,000.00 Por - Charles W. Aulm Keneth F. Rose, DBA Red Rose Builder Grant nnt E. Stump. Robert J. Schneider.
