9 <br />It was agreed that the situation presents a definite contingency, and funds being <br />available for such purpose, the Board authorized the necessary heating and directed the <br />Clerk to proceed to advertise for bids for its installation. <br />1 <br />Mr. Tomlinson next mentioned his need for anew tar kettle and accessories in <br />connection with the program of sealing concrete streets, which he expects soon to get <br />underway. <br />The probable costs were considered and purchase of the tar kettle and needed equip- <br />• <br />ment was ordered by the Board. <br />A letter from Mayor John A.
