<br />A petition dated September 12th was received for the vacation of the first
<br />• fourteen foot alley south of Prairie Avenue from Brookfield Street east one -hundred
<br />twenty feet to the first north and south alley east of Brookfield Street. This was
<br />examined by the Board and referred to the City Plan Commission for approval.
<br />A petition, dated September 182 1952, for the construction of a local sewer in
<br />the 1500 block West Colfax Avenue, between Birdsell and Adams Streets, was examined
<br />by the Board and referred to the City Engineer for investigation and report.
<br />A petition submitted to the Board under date of September 19, 1952, by Playland
<br />Park, Inc. to vacate that area south of the St. Joseph River to Ironwood Drive, which
<br />is a portion of Ernsberger Street abandoned upon construction of the new bridge, was
<br />referred to the City Plan Commission.
<br />1 A petition submitted to the Board by R. W. Wolfram, 1526 Sunnymede Avenue, for
<br />the vacating of alley between Lots 713 and 714, Whitcolb & Keller's Third Sunnymede
<br />Addition was examined and referred to the City Plan Commission.

<br />For the improvement of SWYGART STREET from the north line of Donald Street to
<br />the south line of Prairie Avenue by constructing a Class C pavement under Improvement
<br />Resolution No. 2732, 1952, adopted August 25th, 1952 and first confirmed on September
<br />15, 1952.
<br />• No written remonstrance or remonstrances against said improvement bearing the
<br />signatures of fifty-one (51) percent or more of the resident property owners on said
<br />street to be improved, having been filed within the ten day period following the date
<br />and time of the hearing on said improvement, therefore
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana, that Improvement Resolution No. 2732, 1952, duly daopted by this Board on
<br />August 25, 1952 and first confirmed on September 15, 1952, be and the same is in all
